Went there for a gel manicure. When my technician had to remove the existing gel nail polish – it was rough and she cut my cuticles a bit and seemed like in a rush. Then the nail polish itself was a bad quality and the technician kept on stretching and applied 3 coats with irregular coverage – instead of asking me to pick different color! When I came home I find that both hands have bleeds! Picture attached!
Additionally, they use gloves for protecting from UV light exposure but the nail equipment is sterilized the old fashioned way (steaming it) – most of the newer nail salons just use a brand new kit. Also not sure how they sanitize the gloves! Though on a positive note – they take walk ins and are quite fast!

I went here as a walk in with no appointment. I asked for a dip manicure and they had room for me. The color selection was very limited and they only had one wheel of dip nail colors which is not ideal when I had a specific color in mind that they didn’t have on the color wheel. I went with the safe bet of “funny bunny” because that looks good on everyone. I haven’t had dip in a while so I forget if you get the typical manicure service of soaking hands and removing cuticles, but none of that happened. The tech dry removed cuticles and barely any at that. I did ask for a design on the ring fingers which she did an ok job on. I asked for a heart for Valentine’s Day. They look slightly different and one heart looks better than the other. The best way to do a heart is to use a dotting tool and then draw the lines together. She did them by hand which is why they look kind of like a child did one. But overall the nails came out cute and solid. However, for $65 for just a dip manicure with design, I want them to look like a professional did them. I have gotten a gel mani/pedi combo for $75 not that far from here so when I pay that much for just one service I expect quality. I am usually asked to wash my hands during the service since we all use a communal dipping pot and not once was I asked to wash my hands. I expected better and a more luxurious experience from a rittenhouse salon. Again the manicure isn’t horrible I do love it, but could have been better. That’s why I gave 4 stars and not 5.

Best nails I’ve gotten in a very long time… especially in Philly! These are my natural nails. Lovely employees too!

This place is so NICE. Called a day or two before to make a reservation for my girlfriend to get her nails done for our engagement and she absolutely loved them. The services were quick and super affordable for the area. Employees were friendly and the salon was so clean and comfortable.

Walked in for a gel manicure on a Saturday and had a great experience. There is a small discount if you pay with cash.
