Rico Nail

Lena and Tiffany were both phenomenal! I came here with my toes tattered and my nails needing a fill in. I was recommended by a friend and will be back in 2 weeks or less, for sure. The customer service is top notch. I felt very welcome.

They’re under new ownership and first off they lied and said the old owners still work there but we’re out of town w family . I made contact w my old nail tech and discovered that was a lie and she was at a new location . So I didn’t appreciate the lie bc I would have never continued service I would have went where my old nail tech is . Second the man doing my pedicure was sweet but sweet doesn’t just cut it , he asked if I wanted a cut down I said NO just shape it square . He proceeded to cut and as you can see on the pic they’re stubby now and they were long over the skin on the toe when I came in . Once noticed I flipped and asked for them to be fixed , he proceeded to file . The shape wasn’t the problem , the length was . He didn’t even offer to FIX IT w acrylic or anything !! Then the older lady doing my nails was sweet as well however her foundation/filing is not good at all . Nails looked like I was coming in for a fill, not getting a full set . They were so dull and different lengths . I immediately stopped her and asked another nail tech Lena to do them . She shaped them better however she never fixed the length issues so as you can see in the pic they’re diff lengths on each hand . Same finger . She even polished ON TOP of what the other tech did on my feet instead of removing and redoing it so now they’re thick and a mess after coming home and taking my socks off . Mind you this is gel polish . I still paid and only $10 was taken off , not even the 10% discount additionally which is listed outside the business . I paid $85 for this mess !!!! My birthday is in 2 days and I go on a cruise ! I am livid !!! Lena says she will try to fix tomorrow I will be there bright and early to see what and if she can . I can’t believe I even paid for this AT ALL . they get one star because they’re sweet but work is TERRIBLE . I had to keep telling him to scrub my heels after the pedicure while he was polishing . The last pic of my hands with the bad polish job is about 4 hours after they being done . Why is your polish peeling the same day . I literally want to cry this is a mess

*UPDATE*
I went in to have everything redone and fixed today and Lena said she wasn’t going to fix because I left a review on the business . That’s distasteful! I can review as I please and had it been done properly the first time we wouldn’t be here . She told me that maybe this isn’t the place for me and maybe it’s not !! When she got done she told me to take the review off and when I told her I don’t have to do that she turned and walked away and proceeded to ignore me . She’s making it personal and being unprofessional with me because of it. I won’t be back love I’ve never been treated like this by the old staff. She should change the name def don’t deliver the same quality and etiquette

Lena did a fabulous job on my short natural nails for my S and S manicure at Rico Nails in Smyrna. Shane took extra care with my pedicure. My hands and feet look great. There was no wait and the customer service was great. Come check out Rico Nails. You will NOT be disappointed.

Love this place! It’s tucked away in a tiny shopping center behind the Taco Bell and in front of the TJMax/Sprouts/Pet Smart shopping center in Smyrna! I found it when I was next door at the Alternations Shop. Lena and staff are so friendly and so accommodating. I get off work so late and am always in a rush. They always find time to fit me in. They stayed open until 8pm for me one night. I just sat in the message chair and relaxed until they could fit me in. I even told them I didn’t mind coming back the next day. They also listen to me, I like my nails really short. I always get SNS and they do a really awesome job every time, it is always thin and natural looking, not thick like some salons. I highly recommend!

I came in today and had the most pleasant experience. The new owner, Lena, did my full set and design. The nail salon was very clean and the staff was nice. This is definitely my new go-to spot!
