DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!! I wouldn’t even give this a star if it didn’t make me!!! I am sitting in my car right after getting this awful pedicure literally wanting to cry. Here’s my experience..
My feet were soaked for maybe 20 seconds before starting, I wasn’t offered a beverage like the other lady was when she came in. AND.. Even after stating I wanted square nails when I sat down, “Ben” cut my big toe so much it hurts! The corners were completely cut out. Knowing there was no saving my nail shape I proceeded to ask for square nails, he said ok and continued rounding. Then as you can see in the photo the gel polish that I paid $50 for has already lifted off my little toe. I’m not the person to make a scene but this pedicure wasn’t even worth a penny yet I paid $50! I promise I will let EVERYONE I know that this is the worst place I have EVER been to for a pedicure!

I’ve lived in NC for two years now and this is the first time Ive gotten my nails done since living here. At first I went to two other salons closer to the candler area (both w/good reviews) but was very disappointed by both of their appearances (cluttered&crowded), so I went to Red salon with little hopes, but I was very happily surprised! I’m used to the upscale nail salons of Knoxville, TN where the salon is pretty, organized, modern and serve complimentary drinks. Red Salon met all these “needs” of mine. The technicians were very polite and personable, the salon is pretty, clean and organized. I was not offered a drink but I noticed the complimentary drink in their service menu and when I asked I was politely served a nice glass of wine during my pedicure.
I just started getting liquid nails (vs acrylic) and am pretty ignorant to the process, and had many questions since this was the first fill and at a new shop, the young woman was patient and friendly while answering my questions. She did a beautiful job and in a short amount of time.
Now on to the pedicure, I normally have to ask for hotter water and heavier pressure with the foot massage…but this was perfect!!! That technician was also very professional and kind.
I will definitely be back again.

Ps: I noticed that most of the negative reviews are at least 8 months old, so maybe major changes took place. Their Facebook page is full of very recent and very positive reviews. So I’d take the negative ones with a grain of salt. Many are also about male technicians, I did witness a woman getting a pedicure from the only man there and she said “ouch” several times.
My advice, speak up! Too many people stay quiet while not liking their service then post negative reviews. If they’re hurting you then make sure they know that. If you don’t like the shape or color, don’t leave until it’s what you want.

Pros and cons everywhere, but I’ll vouch for this place 🙂

I haven’t gotten my nails done in sooo long but I’m so glad I came here. I saw the reviews and knew I had to try it and I was notttt disappointed!!! The shape and length are so perfect I couldn’t be happier. Please come here they know what they’re doing! 🙂 Will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone who asks.

My girls at this salon are awesome! They always do exactly what I ask for and are super friendly. Customers service is the best that I personally have ever experienced. I highly recommend red nails to anyone in the Asheville area
