This review only has a star because I had to. My first time here and I was denied service because I asked the guy can he file my toes nails some more after providing a rush pedicure. I was told to go somewhere else because I didn’t like what he was doing. I began to explain that one was uneven and I just wanted it correct and he still refused to service me. I asked what his name was and his reply was, “I have no name”. If I’m paying for a service I believe it should be done the way I would like. Money spend anywhere and I’m a very well tipper.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for awhile now— always a good experience here. I always call ahead to make sure it won’t be too busy, and 9/10 they’re able to take me at my desired time without any wait. It is a relaxing, clean and they also have a couple pretty murals on their pink walls.
Slightly pricier than other nail salons, but definitely worth it IMO (ex: $25 for regular pedi/ $35 for deluxe— but prices are subject to change). All of the lovely ladies here are quick and efficient but also happy to indulge in conversation with a smile. I try my best to pay attention while I’m getting a mani or pedi done but there’s been once or twice that I’ve had to ask them to trim a bit shorter after they were done or to change a nail color once I see it on, and they’re always happy to do so.
Whenever possible, they do try to work on your pedi & mani at the same time, which is SO convenient when you’re either short on time or impatient like I am (WIP, haha). Be prepared to stay for up to an hour and half at the most.

I’ve been here two times. The first time was 10/10, the second time was 0/10. I went to get my nails removed because I was going to do it at home and while searching how to do so, the professionals kept saying to go to a salon to do it properly, given my previous 10/10 experience I came back to get this service done plus a new gel mani pedi. I went in, was seated quickly and the woman that was removing my nails straight up just grabbed a fake nail and shoved it in between my mail and my full set. I should have walked out, but I only get 5 hours a week without my kids and I was down to my last two before having to get them so I stayed. She ripped off my pinky nail and I started to bleed. Then she told me it didn’t hurt while I was teary eyed. My nails are now very chipped and weak because she ripped off the top layer of all my nails instead of soaking them like she needed to. The worst part is I had already cut them down but decided to go to the salon because I figured they would do the acetone soak and use the automatic file thus not damaging my nails like I would at home. I regret it. I won’t be going back.

I ONLY get my nails done here. Ask for Kim! She is amazing, has great attention to detail, and makes my gel nails last for up to 7 weeks! I can’t say enough about how great she is…I almost don’t want to give away Long Beach’s best kept secret! 😉
