First time taking my 7yr old daughter to Real Kids Salon. When I asked her how she liked it, she said “I didn’t even say ouch one time!”. That means so much to me AND to her! The salon is clean and everyone seemed upbeat and helpful. It’s taken a long time to find a place where we both feel comfortable and this is that place.

Took my 11yr old son here to start his locs. AWESOME service and styling! I highly recommend this shop. His stylist is ShaSha, she is awesome. Highly recommend them. I think they may style adults as well. Not totally sure, though.

I brought my 5yr old daughter and her best friend(also 5yrs) here for a manicure.

They charged me $90.00 ($45.00 each) for the manicures. The girls did not receive any special service, only a nail soak (in glass Tupperware), Nail file, and regular nail polish (that was a bit messy)

When I asked why am I being charged $90.00 dollars I was not given a clear answer why.

That price point for toddler manicure is just tacky and unnecessary

Oh and they “gave” my daughter & friend a small bag of popcorn and one piece of candy. To be honest for $90.00 I actually paid for that.
