A great shop…very welcoming relaxing atmosphere and very clean. Both my pedicure and manicure were excellent…the Lily included many extras like a hot stone foot massage..it was delightful. I will definitely be a regular customer at Rainlily.

What a fantastic establishment! When you walk in it has a mild pleasant aroma of natural oils, less so than Whole Foods, no noxious chemical smell at all. I’m not sure they do any fake nails so that might be why. The decor is tasteful and soothing and everything quite clean. All of the instruments are sterilized and they use disposable liners, etc where possible to cut down on contamination. The pedicure chairs have typical massage features, but nothing overly fancy. Kelly did my pedicure and was sweet enough to work me in 30 minutes before closing, but didn’t rush me at all. When you sit down they give you a drink menu of many teas. I opted for the cinnamon water, which she recommended and I thoroughly enjoyed. I got the Lilly Pedi which includes a ten minute massage with essential oils and hot stones, and let me tell you, that felt amazing! They use organic oils and such during the pedicure, but use typical OPI polishes and products. She did an amazing job on my French pedicure and I will definitely be back. It’s not the cheapest game in town, but you get what you pay for and this place is worth it.

I have been a regular customer of Rain Lilly since it opened a few years ago. The service and attention to us, the customers, used to be outstanding, for that reason I never went to any other nail salon and i have recommended it to many friends and relatives. I have bought multiple gift cards from them throughout the years…unfortunately, recently things have changed ( not for better…). Lately, when I schedule my appointments I select the technician of my preference . However, last time I showed up for my appointment, they had a different technician doing my pedicure. He pulled the cuticles around my toes so hard, that it literally hurt ( I have high pain tolerance, but this was excessive and unnecessary.) i told the male technician that he hurt me. He did not apologize, and kept on going doing the same on the other toe… I did have to stop being polite and said aloud “ Don’t you understand that you are hurting me..?” He laughed and never apologized to me about the situation. On Mother’s day my daughter treated me for a pedicure, the same male technician was assigned to her to our surprise!!! My daughter complained about the very same issue!
Yesterday I booked an online appointment for today. I selected the technician of my preference. Upon booking the appointment I received a conference email and subsequently a text message. Both messages confirmed the date, time and the technician I picked. When I showed up this afternoon ( on time), i Was asked several times if I had scheduled an appointment, I replied “yes, you know that I never show up without an appointment “. They were overbooked and to my surprise the technician told me “ I cannot do your manicure because you didn’t pick me.“ I had to show them my email and text message… they said “ this is ridiculous!” Then, they had me waiting fir about 20 waiting be re-assigned to another technician. At the end I got my dipping powder done with a beautiful color,, but the nail looks quite bumpy on the base of the nail in my left hand. In conclusion, Rain Lilly no more,

I love rainlily but was super disappointed with my walk-in experience compared to when I’ve made an appt. Felt rushed and underserviced. Was looking to get the manilux or Lily mani and I guess through some miscommunication I was given the basic. When I spoke up I was told I should have made an appt and should do that service next time. Super bummed

My favorite place to get pedicure in the entire DMV. Been going here for years and now everybody has discovered this hidden gem with great service, good drinks, and beautiful space. This is def a great spot to bring a friend, family or date and get pampered. But you might want to book an appointment it’s the best spot in Tysons.
