I never write reviews (positive nor negative), but I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I did. Staff is nice so I gave them one star. The issue is that they don’t know how to remove gel polish. They filed my nails down to the skin beneath it causing unbearable pain while doing it and to this day (it’s already been a month).

I’ve always had strong and thick nails, now I can’t even open a drawer without damage (and pain) nor grow them.

In the pictures, you can see the difference between the pink part (due to the thinness and damage) towards the end of my finger and the white (healthy and thicker part) towards the growth of the nail.

The service is so inconsistent and I left with a bloody scab on my cuticles.

I used to go to this nail spa all the time and loved it because everyone was always super nice. Right before my engagement, I went to get a simple gel manicure because I trusted them for this big day. But, my nail tech was rude from the start, rushed through trimming my nails and cuticles messily, left me with a cut, and when I asked why the sides weren’t clean, she blamed it on me “having sensitive skin” and didn’t trim anything more. I’ve never run into this problem before.

Then, I picked a color that looked really pretty in the samples, but turned out to basically be a clear coat. When I asked to change the color, she got really annoyed and openly hostile. She said I could’ve looked up the colors online beforehand, and that it’s obvious the colors aren’t going to look the same on a real nail. The manager finally found me a color that I was okay with, and then the nail tech refused to take off the first layer of polish and proceeded to paint over the existing coat with the new color.

My nails are just as messy now as they were going in, and I’ll probably have to get them redone elsewhere at the last second. I’m so disappointed because they were my go-to spot for the longest time, but I won’t be returning again.

I honestly never write reviews because I use to work in service and I don’t like to complain but I’m really upset and want to warn others about the sanitary risks of this salon. I went in for a UV gel manicure and specifically requested my cuticles not be cut or shaved but instead be pushed back. After the technician rolled their eyes and another tried to pressure me into cutting them I reiterated I did not feel comfortable doing that given the infection risk and could they please push them back. Despite this they cut my cuticle to the point it caused bleeding. They were still going to continue working on me after this even though that’s a high risk not only to myself but other patrons until I chose to leave on my own accord. Now rather than a manicure I have a bleeding nail and an inability to get my nails done somewhere else until the cut heals. I would not recommend anyone go here.

Wanted to get my nails done last second and passed by the salon so gave it a try. Everything was great and the polish job was wonderful, but a couple of the nails are filed crooked. I had asked for rounded square shape but two of my nails are slanted. Overall a cute place but definitely not professional work.

My experience with Less & More Nail Salon was extremely disappointing. They fired me abruptly without any prior warning or explanation. The reason they gave for my termination was budget cuts, and that the salon isn’t making any money to pay me part time !!! But it felt like a mere excuse to avoid taking responsibility for their actions.

I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing Less & More Nail Salon. Their lack of transparency and disregard for their employees’ well-being are evident. If they treat their staff in such an unprofessional manner, it raises concerns about their overall ethics and customer service.

I believe in supporting businesses that prioritize their employees’ welfare and maintain open communication. Unfortunately, Less & More Nail Salon falls short in this aspect, and I urge everyone to think twice before supporting a business that mistreats its workforce.

There are many other nail salons out there that value their employees and provide excellent services. Let’s choose to support businesses that treat their staff with respect and create a positive and welcoming environment for both employees and customers.
