Jennifer permed my hair, what was supposed to be a big curl body perm was instead a tight perm, which was told to me mid way through the solution being put on my hair. The reason was because she wasn’t allowed to her have her own rollers stored there due to lack of room and she didn’t have hers with her for my appointment so she had to make do and assured me it would be close enough to what I wanted. The stretchy bands kept popping off while under the solution wait time, to which she put hair clips to hold those rollers in place instead. I was left with the solution on for far too long while she dealt with an upset client because she was not done with my hair in time for her clients appointment after running 30 minutes late. My hair was completely ruined!! I came in with long healthy hair and left with a fried tight perm. I was sent out the door with wet, unstyled hair because she was afraid to even dry it because of the damaged results. Nothing about my first time here went right. I have never been more disappointed than I was here. Yes, I was still charged for her work after all this. I was assured after the let down period that my hair would correct itself from being over permed. That never happened. I have tried every expensive hair repair product out there and nothing has helped.

Purple Pinkie is such a wonderful place to get your hair done! Brandie has always done an amazing job with all the specific hair requests I’ve asked for. She also perfectly maintains my husbands beard, and hair. She is super personable and pays attention to all the details, she’s a great stylist check her out!

Very cute salon, great facility with lots of services! But I can only speak to the mani/pedi I got which I’m afraid was pretty unsatisfactory. Megan Beechum was my technician, super sweet and bless her heart…she definitely tried. I got a regular pedicure. It was not the worst, but lacking in the massage and the polish is a bit messy. My gel manicure was…well, yikes. She scraped and peeled off my previous gel without soaking and reallllllly damaged my nails. When she filed my nails she was super harsh and she barely touched my cuticles (which to me is the most important part of a manicure). The gel itself is messy, stuck to my skin and way too thick. She said it was due to the light color but I’ve had this color before and it did not cause my nails to look like big bulges. It’s already starting to peel at the edges.I may be a little picky and used to getting my nails done in bigger cities, but this technician lacked finesse, I did not enjoy my mani/pedi, and I think she needs work on her craft a bit.
