I got scammed on the gram. I kept getting IG ads for this place. So decided to try. I should know better.

I needed to get a good scrub on my heels, so I upgraded to the “Soo Much Goodness” pedicure that said it removed calluses. As you can see in the after picture, my heels still didn’t look good.

The massage was very good. But overall it was not worth paying $85 for this service.

Ambience was nice. Tools were individually wrapped. Foot basin all had a sanitation bag.

Updated review:
someone reached out to me from the salon and let me know they were willing to fix the design or do a new one at no cost. After some back and forth I agreed to come back. The staff are very nice and pleasant. The nail tech was very soft and gentle while removing the gel and doing my manicure which I really appreciate. It is apparent that these nail techs were on a beginner level which I think should be vocalized to the client so that you know what to expect at your visit and what your money will be paying for. I don’t agree with their pricing for what I received but at the end of the day they tried to resolve the problem and I got a new manicure. I would recommend specifically requesting a nail tech mentioned on their Instagram page if you are looking to do designs.

First picture is what I got, second picture is what I showed my nail tech as my inspo. I was very sad when she started cutting my long natural nails right away. She didn’t ask if they were extensions or my natural nails. Before I could say anything she was already more than half way done cutting my nails on one hand. I am very sad with the outcome as they are not close to what I wanted. She also filed my nails down super thin to what I am used to. My nails feel very sensitive and fragile now. I was too shy to say anything because she was very sweet, careful, and did an excellent job on my cuticles. I paid almost double what I normally pay at another salon.

UPDATE Feb 2024 – 5 Stars *****
I came back and had a perfect experience here with two women – thoughtful, caring technicians who took their time and did a fabulous job. I am very happy with today’s experience and will continue to come back to Purluxe for my manicure and pedicure needs.

Nov 2023 – Two Stars **
I have had 2 out of 3 positive experiences here – quality and price can be adjusted.

Had a 5:30 appointment. Did not get in until 5:55. The person who started my service handed me off to someone else (older man) who then wasn’t the most gentle and rushed and cut me in 4 places – his attention to detail was missing and care.

My cuticles were cut and trimmed – dry. No cuticle softener or warm water was used while cutting them either which wasn’t the most comfortable and the equipment looked old and dirty.

Received a dip – unfortunately on roughly 1/4 of my fingers, the older man who did them cut me multiple times – rushing – with the electric file at the cuticle after dip went on. He told me it was because I was dry. Unacceptable. I was left with color on my fingers, cut bleeding cuticles and without any remedy to remove leftover dip all over my fingers . This was a $70 service.

Best color selection in all of Denver! My tech tried a few of the chrome colors on me until we found the perfect sheen. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Services was good. Staff and atmosphere was lovely. We went in as family (4 of us). Nails did not last like hoped as they discolored by the 4th day.

Unfortunately, it was tainted by my credit card being charged twice at two different prices!! So I was charged $561.70 for 4 of us to get our nails done!!! Will update when they fix the issue!

Update: they refunded the money.
