Nam did an amazing job doing my nails and toes with a Dazzle Dry polish! It was my first time using the brand, which is a healthy alternative to gel and acrylic. Nam answered all my questions and was very kind & knowledgeable. Her manicure and pedicure was very thorough and therapeutic, as well. I will be back and highly recommend!

I went to Progressions on and off for almost 20 years, tried 5 or 6 stylists before settling on the one who was reliably good. And then one day I had to reschedule on the day of the appointment. I called as soon as they open, almost 5 hours before my appointment, they rescheduled me for 2 days later, and then informed me that I will be charged a cancellation fee. I thought it was odd. They give you 10% off for service and products for your birthday, which I don’t think I ever used, but they can’t void the cancellation fee for a loyal customer? When I said I am not coming back, the receptionist, and then the manager were very quick to say “OK”, as in “who cares”.
It took me 30 minutes to look through reviews and find a salon with even higher ratings than Progressions, that was closer to my work and my home. I got a cut of the same quality, but for 60% of the price. I guess this is a win-win situation: Progressions got their cancellation fee and I found a better salon.

Silvia had as been my hairdresser for over 20 years and never disappoints! She is worth my driving from Williamsburg to have her work her magic! The staff is accommodating and always helpful when I’m planning my appointments which can be tricky with the distance. Always worth the trip!

I always come to see Iris Rojas.
Today she did a One-Step – coloring my gray -& a haircut. As always, i left looking terrific.

I was at the salon on 9/4 when they were celebrating their 40th celebration, which led me to ask Iris had been at Progressions. I realized that i had been seeing Iris almost as long as she had been at the salon.

Iris is a shining star.

This is a great place for pampering yourself. The team here is professional and friendly, Gaby is one of the nicest people. I was very fortunate to find Ruth about 3 years ago because she does an amazing job on my hair. She keeps up with current trends and never stops educating herself. She is one of the best hair dressers I ever had. Thank you Ruth!
