Customer Reviews:
While I had a fantastic experience with my nail artist (who gave me a wonderful mani pedi and was so much fun to spend time with – and I’d specifically give her 5 stars), my friend I got my nails done with had a negative experience which brought down my rating.
She was getting her nails done for her wedding and showed a picture of what she wanted her manicure to look like (which would have needed white floral nail art).
The manicurist initially agreed to it. But then, part of the way through painting her nails, the manicurist told her that she would be unable to do the design on her nails. This was very misleading – if the salon couldn’t do the design, that’s totally fine – she could’ve chosen something else or we could’ve gone elsewhere.
At this point, my friend couldn’t change the color of her nails, which she would’ve if she knew the manicurist wouldn’t be able to do the nail design. They opted to do a French tip instead, and it came out really poorly.
As you can see in the photos, her nails are unevenly shaped and the polish is applied poorly (bubbling, lines).
Because I had such a positive experience but she had such a negative one, it leads me to feel that I can only recommend this salon if you’re not having nail art done.
As a result, my friend had to go to a different salon to fix her nails as she couldn’t go into her wedding with her nails looking like this.
My hope is in the future this salon makes it clear which nail techs are capable of nail art and be upfront of what they can or can’t do. I also think the shape of her nails is something nail techs could do a better job of.
