Long story short: recommend for plain mani/pedis, but not nail art.

While I had a fantastic experience with my nail artist (who gave me a wonderful mani pedi and was so much fun to spend time with – and I’d specifically give her 5 stars), my friend I got my nails done with had a negative experience which brought down my rating.

Check Other:  Secret Nails

She was getting her nails done for her wedding and showed a picture of what she wanted her manicure to look like (which would have needed white floral nail art).

The manicurist initially agreed to it. But then, part of the way through painting her nails, the manicurist told her that she would be unable to do the design on her nails. This was very misleading – if the salon couldn’t do the design, that’s totally fine – she could’ve chosen something else or we could’ve gone elsewhere.

At this point, my friend couldn’t change the color of her nails, which she would’ve if she knew the manicurist wouldn’t be able to do the nail design. They opted to do a French tip instead, and it came out really poorly.

As you can see in the photos, her nails are unevenly shaped and the polish is applied poorly (bubbling, lines).

Because I had such a positive experience but she had such a negative one, it leads me to feel that I can only recommend this salon if you’re not having nail art done.

As a result, my friend had to go to a different salon to fix her nails as she couldn’t go into her wedding with her nails looking like this.

My hope is in the future this salon makes it clear which nail techs are capable of nail art and be upfront of what they can or can’t do. I also think the shape of her nails is something nail techs could do a better job of.

I’ve given this place 3 chances, this is my last straw. this is the worst dip manicure i’ve ever received. I was intentionally hurt by one of the techs there while getting a dip manicure. The first time she drilled into my pinky I figured it was an accident, 2nd time no big deal but the 3rd time, at that point she cut into my flesh and was bleeding (very painful mind you) and i wanted to stop the service for a different technician but they hushed me and told me she would be gentle…I’ve gotten many dip manicures, never ever have they used the drill as much as this tech did. there’s lots of filing involved and she cut corners to make this service faster at the expense of my health. she was rough with my fingers to begin with, squeezing the life out of each one. this was the most worst experience I’ve ever had in the 10 plus years i’ve been getting my nails done. this was one tech, i’ve received okay services from others but all in all what they charge you does not add up to the quality of their work. do not recommend spending your hard earned money here, they don’t care about the health of your nails and will ruin them.

I’ve gone to Pro nails a few times now. I love that I can book online but today they were happy to take me as a walk in. They are always nice and fast with reasonable prices. Helen introduced me to gel x and my real nails really appreciate it! Today I went in with no idea what I wanted except simple and a spring look, very happy with how they turned out!

This salon takes the cake for the best mani-pedi I have ever had. I have been getting my nails done for years, and Pro Nails Spa surpasses all expectations. Plus, the salon is incredibly clean. I even witnessed their meticulous closing routine, and It is clear they prioritize hygiene. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

If I could give a zero star I would!! Worst nail place in my entire life. I got an acrylic set with French tips, from the stat I had to tell the nail tech the issues like the shape, the French tip color and lines. I can to kindly ask for refund since I had to spent additional money for the horrible job they did. They ask me to go back but I don’t repeat mistake twice. I have attached the picture of the worst nail of the year.
