So cute! Elegant salon space with professional, talented nail artists. Jen did a fantastic job with my Hello Kitty nails for a reasonable price.

I wanted to like this place so much. There are so many good reviews, which is why I decided to make an appointment. I called to set up an appointment for four pedicures and two manicures for 3:00 for myself, my daughter, my sister, and my best friend. We arrived on time, and the pedicure stations were set up and ready for us. However, we sat and sat and sat until about 3:30/3:45 before even one person came to get started with us. My 6-year-old was tended to first. I thought that odd, especially because child services are usually much quicker than adult services. Both my daughter’s pedicure and manicure were nearly completed before any of the adults were even started. We all opted for the middle of the road pedicure option ($45), and I added the gel polish. I’m not unfamiliar with the process, as this is what I usually select when getting a pedicure. I have never had a nail tech paint each toe individually, curing them in between. It took forever! Ten toes, 4-5 coats each, equals lots of time. I thought it was odd that after all toes had been painted and cured, she filed my toenails again. Doesn’t the undo the seal?! I’m not confident that the nails will not chip quickly. Kind of defeats the purpose of gel.

Against my better judgement, I continued on to get a gel manicure after my pedicure was done. My sister was barely halfway through her pedicure by the time I was done with mine, so I knew I would have enough time to get a manicure while waiting. Well, it was the worst manicure I have ever had. Again, she painted one finger at a time, curing each one individually. While the shape of my nails is OK, the polish is absolutely horrific. She actually did not put the top coat on, and oiled me up, gave a hand massage, and was ready to send me on my way. It was only because I said something immediately that something wasn’t right. She quickly applied the top coat, then filed my nails again. Not only did the process take a long time, the polish was applied unevenly and gloppy, and the end result is bumpy, uneven, and very unprofessional looking nails. I absolutely could have done better with my at-home Amazon gel kit. I have been doing my own nails for quite some time, but every once in a while, I treat myself to a manicure in addition to the pedicure. Because I have an event coming up this coming weekend, I figured today would be a good day to do it. I sincerely regret spending the money, because now I’m stuck with a poor quality manicure that just looks unfinished and unprofessional. In the end, we did not leave the salon until about 5:45! Yikes — nearly three hours! The pictures don’t even show how bad they look… but I’m less than impressed. Now, I’m out $150 and have horrible nails to show for it.

They had no customers in the salon so there was no rush. Ki was the technician who was asked to remove my gel polish & do a manicure. She burned me the first time with the drill. I told her my nails are very thin & sensitive. She burned me a total of four times. Shame on me for not just getting up & leaving after the first time. I needed the chipped gel off. $30 to be burned 4 times and to see the drill marks in my nails with just clear nail polish. Never again. Never. Not much of apology.
