I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by Lindey at Posh Salon in Georgetown. Lindey was timely and professional. Her skills as a stylist are fantastic. She listened attentively to my preferences and concerns, and the result exceeded my expectations. I left the salon feeling rejuvenated and confident, all thanks to Lindey’s expertise and attention to detail!

Well, I just started my process with Natalie , and so far I am super amazed at her knowledge and patience. I am going for a silver transformation. More to come. This place is super nice, clean, and cute. Natalie has been phenomenal

SHE CUT MY HAIR WAY TOO SHORT!!!

At the beginning when she asked how I wanted it cut, I POINTED to the length I wanted and mentioned that this was MAYBE 4 inches. After washing my hair, she promptly forgot what I had told her, and was like “so you wanted a trim right?” I started to say “yeah um no…” Then she interrupted me with “oh yeah, I remember you said 4 inches” and proceeded to cut my hair exactly where she thought 4 inches would be without checking with me whether that was the length I truly wanted. ANY NORMAL STYLIST WOULD DOUBLE AND EVEN TRIPLE CHECK WITH THE CLIENT BEFORE CUTTING A SIGNIFICANT LENGTH OFF! My body was turned away from the mirror, so I did not know how much she was cutting. By the time she turned me around to look at the result, well, it was already too late. IT WAS TOO SHORT!

Everything else was just downhill from there. I asked for long, face framing bangs, she didn’t bother checking with me where I wanted my hair to be parted and cut it center. I had to correct her, more hair was cut, and I ended up with short bangs that I can’t tuck behind my ears.

I asked for layers, she didn’t ask how I liked my layers to be cut (I wanted internal layers) and gave me bluntly cut external layers that caused my hair to flip outwards.

In the end, I lost all trust I had in her that I didn’t even want her trying to fix it anymore. I was holding back tears as I finished paying and still gave a customary 20% tip despite how much I hated my hair. I’m writing this review in the middle of the night because I couldn’t sleep due to how UPSET I am. I have an important function to attend tomorrow and don’t even know how I can show my face.

I expected this subpar level of communication and poor quality of work from some place like great clips. Actually, great clips would have probably done a better job than the one I received at Posh Salon.

I am not mentioning the stylist by name because despite all of this, I don’t want to destroy her business.

I have very fine blonde hair so needless to say I’m very picky about who cuts and highlights it! I’ve been coming to see Destiny for a few years and she has been AMAZING! My hair has never been healthier or looked better. Not to mention she is the sweetest and most fun to spend the time with! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Stacy James is a talented professional. She knows the chemistry of hair color and can always create beauty. She is very kind and puts her clients first. Gives a first rate haircut.
