Found this nail salon while in Houston for a work trip. Even though I came later in the day, they were very kind and accommodating. Tina did a fantastic job on my nails. She had an impeccable attention to detail and took her time even though it was within the hour they closed. I am very impressed and would come back here next time I’m in Houston!

The salon was sparkling clean. They fit me and my friend right in. The drink options are a nice touch. My nail guy did a really good job doing as many thin coats as needed for chip-resistant, opaque gel. It’s been a week and there is no damage besides a couple of scratches.

I used to be a regular at Polish. It is close to my house, appointments were easy to book online, and the manicures/pedicures were good enough. However, over the last year or two, the quality really declined. There was one good tech, but that’s about it. The rest were incredibly sloppy. By that I mean half-painted toes, polish on the skin, lumps in gel, etc. For a while, I was willing to deal with it because of the convenience, but the straw that broke the camel’s back was when one of the techs filed through my nail bed. As in, she filed so hard that she cracked the nail and hit skin. Talk about painful, not to mention the worry of infection. The front desk staff was completely blasé when I informed her. No apology, no compensation, nothing. I haven’t been back since, nor will I be.
