Customer Reviews:
My bf ended up paying so much for this dip and I had regular nail polish on my feet.
1- Pedi was done. No calluses/cuticles removed or anything. Or that was a charge. So it was literally soaking at the chair and dip right on. So buffing or trimming of the nails. Day later it chipped but was not done well.
2-Mani, again nothing to do to prep the nail before hand. Or trimming of the nails. It was straight to the dip. The color didn’t come out to what it was on the nails displayed. Originally it was supposed to be a sparkly ‘white’. Came out super clear and she said it’s fine I like this as is. Literally this is about the same look as my regular nail polish at home with skulls nail polish. Though even the nail polish was better than this outcome and hella cheaper.
3-Paid at the register. The man had assisted us at the register. He goes right to my bf and strikes up convo with him about his personal stuff like where he works what he does, what he earns and whatnot. Making him uncomfortable. Putting aside that I was trying to tell him that I was disappointed with my Mani and Pedi. Tried talking about 3 times and he ignored me straight up. Seemed very sexist. Cause the only reason your business is the ladies that get their nails done. Not the man. An he caught on as well. He really wasn’t happy that the nails weren’t good as well. He criticized it more than I did. And was mad that it was very expensive compared to where his family gets theirs.
Even back in AZ a full set wasn’t $190. In AZ, they did full treatment, good customer service and this would be for added length.
(Will be checking out more nail places around the area as well and do reviews on them while Im living in the area)
Overall DO NOT RECOMMEND for anyone being serious to get their nails done at Platinum Nails.
I will be trying to get my nails done elsewhere. So feel free to follow for more reviews. So any bad reviews for here. I agree with them. I’ve also shared these prices as well listed. Though there are unexpected charges as well. The detailed art apparently one lady does do. Just one is always not available or on vacation. I’ve asked for her and still haven’t gotten to get it done. Not sure if she is even a real person or if those are their pictures from a worker there.
