Today was my first time at this salon and I had a great experience today at pixie nail salon. I asked for something simple and elegant and Cami really went way above the expectations. I I’ll definitely come back for my refills :)!

Edit: I went back again for Valentine’s Day Nails and Cammy was amazing again!!!

Henry was awesome ! He did my Full set and pedicure. Hot stone, Detailed massage, he was courteous and kept checking my comfort level throughout my service. The atmosphere was very chic and clean. I was able to enjoy a glass of wine as well ! I cannot wait to return for my next spa day.

Yesterday I came in about 2:00pm. The shop is really cute and really well put together. Once you walk in; you sign your name and birthday (Month and Day) on the small touch screen register. They do accept walk ins. Today I came in to remove existing acrylics and a new set. I was greeted by no one and never been here so i waited until someone addressed me. A male nail tech (Kevin I believe his name was) asked what I had came in for. He told me to sign in and have a seat. So I arrived at 1:57pm and sat down at 2:00pm after signing in. They would me to pick a color so I sat through the colors. I waited for 20 minutes; After moved to a chair to set up the acrylics, I showed the women doing my nails which designs I wanted and things of that sort. I asked BEFORE she placed anything on how much everything would be. I’ve been to several places for nails and being that lots of people I know do nails; I wanted a quote for the service. I was quoted 100 dollars even. Never have I been somewhere and “as short as can be” costed 100 dollars. Even with the designs and charms. The first photo attached is what I requested and the second photo is the color I picked and the third photo attached is what I received. The nails I wanted involved an ombré effect. After placing the acrylics the lady asked if the shape and size was good; they were very nicely applied in such little time. If you are asking; yes this nail business will charge 5 dollars most likely for everything you add. When we started getting to the color I wanted (Green) she applied with airbrush technique and once she realized it was not working the way it should’ve or having any effect on the nails she kept wiping it off over and over. This happened 13-15 times of airbrushing and wiping it off, My cuticles where green lol. I could tell she was getting frustrated and several employees would come over and look and giggle. As I waited throughout the process of her taking the color off and on- I made sure to keep up with the time; Long story short! I was suppose to meet my in laws for lunch local; I MISSED the whole outing, After being asked if I wanted anything to drink several times by the employees the lady started switching techniques and kept wiping the color off, Up until this point I’m confused if I should pay for the service of the acrylics applied and just leave or let her keep trying…I then told her “it’s fine don’t worry about the color” She passed me off to Kevin. Kevin couldn’t get the airbrush to work to I eventually said “it’s okay i’ll just do the design”. He ensured me that he could get color on Real Quick- so we went with white. At this time it’s now 3:35pm. I had watched everyone who walked in with me leave. I kept a close eye to watch was going around me and the vibe of the employees. People were really pleased with their service; When you would walk to the front to pay several ppl would walk you out: I guess to ensure THAT YOU PAY. After my nails where done design and all it was 4:00pm. I missed out on my own plans. The nails are really cute! I checked out and my discount for the service was 10 dollars off. Which brought the price to 90 dollars :/ which was considered from what Kevin was saying “much cheaper”. Short Acrylics/ 5 dollar chart to remove my acrylics and discount applied 90 dollars. Moral of story. The nails were beautiful but several times I wanted to just pay for what was already done and have another salon finish the rest. These are the nails (my birthday nails). I don’t agree with the price. Some of the employees were really social but I had said like 20 words the entire appointment lol.. cause the nails techs kinda just get to it/ mine weren’t rlly social. But! There was a employee; Anna that was very kind sitting next to me doing someone else’s nails and she was really sweet talking to her client. Kevin was rlly nice but the discount really was below my expectations. I do wanna add! not once they requested I wash my hands after buffing and everything; no cuticle trim.

Very peaceful atmosphere . Daisy did my nails and did great . She took her time and she was very engaging when it came to conversation. I also got my eyebrows done by someone else and whose name I forgot to get . That was a nice experience as well. The ladies who took care of me were very down to earth . I am very pleased . 🤍

Second visit and very much pleased!! They are incredibly gentle, take their time, and constantly check to make sure everything is to your liking and comfort. It’s my new go to.

**1/25 : Hannah was amazing in making sure I was happy with my manicure this evening. I appreciate her and her nail skills so much!!!! ((I have been thankful with Hannah, Sophia, and Kevin’s manicures))
