Environment and most of the employees were really nice, but the girl who did my nails, Lily, did not do a good job. I understand that everyone has bad days, so I can’t judge all her skills based on one day. However, I got normal painted nails with one solid color… something that I thought would be pretty easy. No gel, acrylics, dip, designs, or anything. She started doing gel at first, and when I realized that’s what she was doing instead and said something, she got a little huffy, but removed the base gel and started over. She went on as normal, but I noticed that when she finished, all of my nails had this weird uneven layering that does not look good. I noticed this after she had given me my ticket and told me to go to the front to pay (while my nails were still wet, mind you, which confused me. She walked off and another lady had to tell me to stay there and let the nails dry some more.). I’m quite unsatisfied with how my nails turned out, and even though I paid $23 for them, I don’t think they were worth even that.

I recently treated myself to the Be a King pedicure and basic manicure at Pink Nails and Spa in Derby, KS, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! 🌟 From the moment I walked in, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine kindness, making me feel instantly at home. 🏡 Their attentiveness to detail and dedication to providing top-notch service truly set them apart.

During my visit, I was consistently impressed by how attentive and professional everyone was. The pedicure and manicure were executed to perfection, leaving my nails looking flawless and me feeling pampered. 💅✨ The ambiance of the salon is both relaxing and inviting, creating the perfect environment to unwind and enjoy some self-care.

So we called and had an appointment set up right when they opened The only thing that we didn’t like was we didn’t get helped and seated until 1145 they apparently over booked at that time… But ok besides that we did have great friendly service. I got the man king pedicure and it just was so freaking amazing and felt so relaxing and I can’t wait to go back. The lady that did mine was funny and joked around and tried making conversation. I appreciated that. I also appreciated the free complimentary stiff and I mean stiff drinks. They’re free and strong and it makes the experience more fun and relaxing. Free snacks cheap lil old snacks but haha its fun. I will be back for another Pedi for sure. Definitely worth going to Derby to check them out.

Such a great experience here! Very clean, super cute inside, the massage chairs were amazing and my nails turned out great. It’s hard to find techs that get detailed and take their time anymore and she did such a great job!

I had previously gone in for services with my daughter and was not completely happy with what I had received. After we left I reached out and told them I wasn’t happy with the way my nails looked but I didn’t say it at the time because I was with my daughter (who had the time of her life).

After reaching out to the salon the Owner reached back out to me personally and wasted no time asking me what needed to be done to make it right and scheduled me an appointment to get them redone.

Today I went back and Tai did my nails and they are perfect. Literally 10/10 the best nails I have ever received . The service was just as good as the first time. I need to make it CLEAR that I had no issue with the tech or service the first time, just simply the quality and symmetry of my nails.

Anyways, they made it right. Went above and beyond. I walked out smiling like a little kid when I left the second time. I will be back!
