P.S. Nail Lounge

I got next day service for me and my step-daughter, which was great. However, I was treated like a friend of my kids the whole time? Even though it was explained that I am an adult. Yes, I am a young millennial, but I am in my early 30s, so I was flattered but also annoyed that I was being treated weirdly, especially when I was going to pay for both of our sets. Besides that, I went here for the good reviews however, my nails were rushed through and the “uncle” of the shop filed my nails down too much to one side, leaving most of them crooked. I don’t see the hype in going to this nail salon. I also didn’t realize the area was full of Karen’s who ask personal details of the nail tech’s immigration status. As a minority myself, I felt very embarrassed and frankly enraged that this woman thought it was her place to know this information. Not to mention, another Karen was staring at me the whole time she was getting her nails done like she had some hidden animosity towards me. I was extremely uncomfortable to say the least. The Karen portions of my review aren’t reflected on the nail shop itself but I thought it’s good to bring to light the racism that takes place around Kansas and perhaps that area. Also, maybe if you’re thinking about going, that’s some things you may have to consider. Thanks for fitting us in, however my overall experience here was not great.

One of the most friendly, clean and welcoming salons in Western Shawnee. Was my first visit to this salon on a Monday when I was desperate to get a fill before leaving town. I went in with a pink & white ombré and my tech was able to fill and match my skin tone with a much better “pink” than the bubblegum color I went in with. The professionalism, friendliness, outstanding service far exceeded my expectations. Everything was oriented to making my visit relaxing and easy. Loved it!

AMAZING customer service! I was purchasing a gift card to send to a friend that live nearby as a Christmas present, but I don’t live in the area. PS Nail Lounge helped me out and mailed the gift card on my behalf, and it even got there in time for the holidays. Thank you for such great service!

I’ve had a pedicure and acrylic nail fills at this salon now. Excellent service and very friendly staff. I’ll def be making this my regular salon.
