My daughter and I have been nail salon hopping in the Collierville area trying to find the perfect nail salon. Out of the 4 we’ve tried, Opus comes out on top! They are extremely thorough and detail oriented to where the entire visit feels indulgent. Not one cuticle was damaged which is a first for me. The massage was so extensive it felt like a massage parlor where I also got my nails done and not a quick rub down at my nail appointment. The cost was comparable to the other salons. The only con is the limited drink options. Our only alcohol options were red and white wine which neither of us are huge fans. Not a big deal, but I would have liked a mimosa or Screwdriver. The polish color options are not vast either. However, I personally feel 1000s of color options are much too overwhelming. They had a good selection to choose from and exactly what my daughter and I came in for, so no big deal there. Overall, I very much enjoyed my visit and intend to return to Opus in the future! Great job, ladies! Thank you for the wonderful experience and beautiful nails!

I had a hair appointment scheduled at 10:15, daughters nails at 10:30… I guess the hair tech never showed because the nail tech that ended up doing my daughters nails didn’t arrive until like 10:45… I’m still waiting for my hair at 11:47 when another tech finally asks if I would like a bottle of water… no thanks, I want to leave! Still waiting for my daughter’s nails to be done and you charged $85 for this…. We will not be returning and I don’t recommend this poor customer service to anyone. Still had to go elsewhere for my haircut… smh

I’m giving one star due to a significant underestimation of the wait time. When we arrived, we asked about wait time and we were told 10 to 15 minutes at most.
Despite there being 4 customers and 3 employees, we ended up waiting 30 minutes before one worker, who was handling 2 other customers, started prepping our nails for color removal. After another hour passed with no further work on my nails, we were about to leave when they asked us to wait 5 more minutes as the workers were finishing up with the other two customers.
In summary, we arrived at 12:50 pm and didn’t leave until around 3:00 pm. They should have informed us that the wait time would be 1 to 2 hours, not 10 to 15 minutes.
Additionally, the drill caught my fingers several times, leading me to ask them to stop using it on my nails. We won’t be returning!

Opus Nails provide high quality nail care at reasonable prices. They go out of their way to take care of their customers. Best nail salon in Shelby County! I drive an hour round trip to get my nails done here because they last the longest and are so friendly.
