Unfortunately the entire experience felt like a transaction. Wanted to go enjoy a manicure and pedicure with my young daughter before I literally give birth the following week. Manager tried to get me to pay for more expensive pedicure so I would “enjoy myself” more. Didn’t agree to it and she just walked away. Still spent well over $100. Complimentary drink is offered to everyone that pays for services, and we were never offered a drink. Everyone around us had one. I have never had such a rushed pedicure in my life. The entire experience was rushed. Will not return and will not recommend to anyone else.

**Returned the following morning in hopes that someone could help me change my gel color on my nails due to not being satisfied. I was happy to pay for the nail color change. Was turned away twice. Was told they don’t fix nails in the morning and I would need to return later. Also wouldn’t allow me to schedule a time. All while 39 weeks pregnant**

I love onyx! I am always greeted by the kind workers and the randomized technician I am assigned delivers exactly what I ask for every time. I have done a plethora of designs and they turn out exactly like the picture, their art work is spot on and I am blown away every time.

Absolutely TERRIBLE.
My sister went to get her nails done for prom and they charged her almost $80 for these nails. She is young and couldn’t speak up for herself, but they know that and take advantage of the younger girls. I just genuinely CANNOT fathom someone doing my nails like this, looking at them, and saying “okay that’ll be $80.” ???????? I’m adding in photos just so y’all can understand how disappointing this really is. I added her inspiration photo as-well.
I know she should’ve spoken up for herself, but at the same time, they shouldn’t have let her leave like that. She went back and feels that the lady was rude/upset about having to fix them. Just sucks because our family loves this place, have been going for years and this is going to be the last time…

Onyx is my go-to nail salon! I always feel so welcomed by the staff and always have a good experience! Everytime I get my nails done with a design it always looks just like the picture! I’m so happy to have a permanent nail salon, and thrilled that I can say with confidence that my nails will turn out exactly as I wanted every time.

I have been going to Onyx for years and have always been pretty happy but I feel the last year the quality has been declining. It seems like the techs are in such a hurry to get to the next person that they are rushing and making mistakes. My daughter and niece went for mani pedis and my daughters finger was cut while my nieces toe was cut both were bleeding when they left. See pics attached. Also, have been having to wait at least 30 min. Even with appt. Think it’s time to try a new place unfortunately.
