It started off very good, and I was very excited for my Brazilian blowout. It’s supposed to last up to twelve weeks, but in the first two, I noticed it wasn’t holding. I called and told them and we made an appointment. I was unable to make the appointment due to work and had to reschedule for the next week. Which put me at 4 weeks after the hair treatment. Upon arriving to the appointment she sat me down and told me she was unable to redo my hair treatment, since it was past 4 weeks and it was a waste of money and time. So instead of telling me this from the get-go, they let me drive all the way over there, for some free shampoo and conditioner and a little bit of thinning. Which is not what I asked for nor what I wanted. Not happy about this. At all.

i hesitate to give them a 1 star, since the haircut was good, but mary colored my hair and i asked for a warm color and got a very dark red, maroon. i called and asked if she could maybe throw in a few highlights to lighten it up and she said yes and gave me an appt. upon arriving, she sat me down in the chair snd in front of other customers and staff, proceeded to tell me that we dont communicate well, (i was only there the one time) therefore we werent a “good fit”. and then said heres the money back for the color, good luck. this was very unprofessional and rude! i am 73 years old and i have Never been treated so rudely in a salon!!!!!!! so beware! Maybe choose another stylist but not her!

My sister got married this past October, and when she told me that she wanted to have a makeup artist, On The Avenue Salon was the first to come to mind. Their staff is professional, reliable, and they managed to get a bride, 10 bridesmaids, and the mothers looking and feeling great, all in time for pre-ceremony photos! I cannot recommend Joanna Connors and her crew enough!

These girls know what they’re doing!! We had them for our wedding in October, 2021. They were able to travel to our venue for services, which was a big plus! To say we had some changes leading up to the day is an understatement. Our numbers changed more times than I’d like to admit, timing changed, etc. They took everything in stride and made it all work for us! The trial for hair and makeup went so easily! I brought in some photos, they listened to what I did or did not want, and went to work! They were great at tweaking things to fit my personal preferences perfectly. The day of the wedding, they were on time, had everything, and were really pleasant to have around! We had all different hair and makeup styles and they nailed them all! I’d highly recommend On the Avenue Salon & Spa for anyone looking for hair and makeup.
