Olathe Le Reve Nails and Lashes

This set was a gift from my friends for my birthday. I had a pedicure and a full set done. Over $100 dollars on nails and I had to go back to have them fixed because the acrylic was square on my cuticle and lifting, half my finger nails were showing on the side of the nail and the file was uneven causing my nails to ripple. I did reach out and they got me in with the tech but I left with them looking like this. The nail tech was very annoyed with me and drilled into my cuticle on my thumb multiple times. When I politely asked her to be careful she told me it was necessary because the acrylic was too thick and needed to be filed down. She wasn’t wrong but it was very painful and isn’t something I have experienced before and now the cuticle on my thumb is missing chunks along the bed. I will not recommend it to anyone. Their Facebook page shows beautiful nails worth every penny paid and I do not feel I received the same work.

The pedicure service was pleasant but unfortunately they missed parts of each nail and it ended up all over my skin. My friend who went at the same as me had theirs turn out great. We both put our shoes on after at the same time, theirs were still good when we got home and mine came off with my socks and over an hour later still won’t dry.

I absolutely love this nail salon. Everyone is so friendly and you are greeted by name when you enter. Julie and Brian the owners are absolutely amazing! I always get my nails done by Julie and I love unique and creative nails. Every time without fail she does amazing. I never leave the salon unsatisfied. The feeling of not being able to speak up or say if something’s wrong doesn’t occur at all. Not only because this couple is amazing and perfectionist, but they are open and listen to complaints(not that I have ever had one). I completely took for granted their amazing talent when I went back to college and experienced mediocre nails. I will only get my nails done by Julie, and would fly back to KC if I needed to 🤍

I’ve been going here for years! Brayan and Julie are fabulous, personable and very detailed and skilled in their services. Just went back for acrylics again after being gone for two months and they have just renovated the whole shop and it’s GORGEOUS! Such a nice shop, great prices and love their online booking.
I will be going here for many more years! ❤️

I have been using this salon for almost a year but the last two times I have gone I have had a terrible experience with my nails.

This last time I was right on time for my appointment over my lunch hour. I had decided to try a different tech because the time before my nails were catching on my hair within a week.

The tech was finishing up with a client and then had me sit at her booth. She then walked around the salon for 10-15 minutes before finally sitting down. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she tried a color combination on the nail and it was not right. I kept showing the picture and telling her what colors to try. After the 2nd attempt with colors she chose she snapped at me that “I would have to pick a single color after this try.” She finally tried the ones I asked her to and it was what I wanted.

The rest of the appointment was terrible. The tech kept stopping working prolonging the appointment, looking around watching people put the new furniture together. Listening in to co workers conversations. She kept taking multiple phone calls again stopping working and at one point was working on her grocery pick up.

After almost two hours (some of it was my fault for not liking the color). I got to my car and three of the nails had discoloration from aggressive filing, all of the nails you could see scratches from the filing. At this point I did not have time to go back in because I was already late getting back to work.

Within 7 days I had 4 nails that cracked, two of the cracks were at the tip and the other at the nail bed. One nail didn’t have top coat on part of the tip.Two of the cracks ended up breaking off doing normal daily task (wiping down counter tops and laundry). My hair is already catching under the cuticles on multiple nails.
