Customer Reviews:
My second experience (the other day) was a 2 star – at best, experience. My nail tech was male, I will not blast his name but he needs more training. I requested a soak off and dip on my natural nails when I came in. I had on acrylics. When I sat at his station he took a new fake nail and jammed it between my real nail and the acrylics attached to my nails. After the first one he popped off there was damage to the top of my nail. I repeated that I had requested a soak off and he replied “this will go much faster, they’re ready to just come off”. I replied my natural nails were thin and he replied “they’re strong, see?” Then proceeded to stick the fake nails under my acrylics and struggled on a few for a good 10-15 min (the time it would have taken to safely remove them by soaking them off like I requested). The gals to my left and right kept looking over at me like “I’m so sorry”
Once the acrylics were forcefully removed, there were flakes of damage across my nails that he then thinned even further by buffing with the dremel. Then came the dip powder… he asked what shape I wanted I said squared without sharp corners, and not much shorter than they were… they’re much shorter than I requested and my right thumb is SO SHORT compared to my left thumb!!! He did all the motions of dip powder correctly, however the shaping part is where he failed miserably. All of my nails are different lengths & very thick! They aren’t squared either, some are so wonky and not shaped, the tips are squiggly, not sure how to describe the unevenness. They’re so thick and bulbous, I cannot emphasize that enough… there was barely any shaping or thinning on the tops and sides. I will post photos of the first time I came in (the red almond shape) and the second time I came in (the glitter thick, horrible job). Considering how much this was, and me trying to advocate for myself at the beginning with him not listening to my requests, I will NOT be seeing him as my tech again. He was nice as a person, but I didn’t enjoy my experience as a customer. I much prefer the first gal that did my nails. I will try this place one more time because I think it was just the specific tech that didn’t do a great job on my glitter nails :-/
