The worst experience I have ever had! My fiancé and me have engagement pictures tomorrow, so I decided to get my nails done at Ocean for pictures. I was the only person in the building with my mail artist. He was extremely rude to me, making me uncomfortable. I wanted to leave but was nervous being alone there with him. I now have to spend more money at another salon since my nails look like a 4 year old did them. I have had my nails done plenty of times in my life, this should be illegal for how he treated me and had me pay walking out like this.

What I wanted vs What I got.
Wanted these simple, thin French tip coffin nail. Got these chunky square messy nails.
Also they have their toddler there, running around, yelling, and bumping into chairs.
Zero lotion applied and no cuticle oil either.
Not worth the $60. First time I’ve not given a tip for a nail service.
EDIT: I went in the day after to see if they would be willing to remove the nails and give a refund. They did that and were very professional about it. They have good customer service.

My friend and I had an absolutely horrid experience at this nail salon. The lines of the French manicure are all lopsided and different thicknesses. The manicurist who was filing my nails with the electric nail file went through my nail down to my skin at the top of my pinky. Then, they got black polish on my skin in multiple places. None of the edges are neat, the color fill is splotchy and chipped, and there is residue left over from where the polish wasn’t completely cleaned up on the corners. To top off the experience, the manicurist was very rude and harsh towards me. My friend, whom also got a French manicure, had asymmetric tips as well and, as her tips were white, had white polish all over her fingers. Additionally, the manicurist made her bleed and in multiple places from cutting the cuticle too short. After about 12 hours of having the polish on, one of her nails already has a huge chip in it! Then they charged us each $50 (not including tip) for the awful experience. Needless to say, we will never be returning to this nail salon.

These were supposed to be a special birthday treat for my daughters 14th birthday. She left Ocean Nails in tears. Her real nails were cut extremely short, the acrylics were oddly shaped, short and uneven. The star design was mediocre at best. Two days later and her nails still hurt because the tech was so rough with her. Horrible experience all together.
