Just got my nails done and it’s like hidden fees galore. It’s 40 for dip. 47 if they have to take off last dip. Then they charge extra for my length apparently/coffin or almond shape. Let’s be real my nails came out round. Then extra because I got a “design” with couple colors. So now I’m at 57. I don’t feel I should be charged for length/filing when they are hardly considered long nails nor did I have an almond shape nail outcome. I’m also happy they trimmed my cuticles which is not always something I get when receiving a dip manicure. I liked my tech and was happy I had little to no interruptions in service like I’ve had some other places. I think it is never a great experience when you have hidden Costs that are not clearly communicated. I don’t agree with this style being extra for length and shape. Will see if other places in the area do it this way too, normally don’t come to the Pearl for nails.

My neighborhood go to spot for years. Everyone does quality, beautiful and long lasting work at a very fair price. They take great care of your cuticles and natural nails. I regularly get 5 weeks out of my dip manicures on my natural nails. This is the spot!

Got a dip French manicure, they have lots of neutrals to choose from and I found a great color for my skin tone. Very detailed treatment and overall great experience.

NW Nails and Spa is the best place I’ve been to in the Portland area for a mani pedi in a very very long time. The technicians are very helpful and patient in making sure that your toes and your nails look exactly the way you want them to look when they are finished. Leo faced a challenge doing my pedicure. When he was finished I felt like I was walking on air and my toenails sparkled as far as the eye could see. I tend to be a little high maintenance and Anne met me every step of the way with patience and kindness. A little more expensive than other places but well worth the extra expenses. You definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommended for one and all. And I’m not just blowing smoke it’s definitely true!

10/10 dip manicure. My tech was very patient with me choosing colors and having a specific/nitpicky vision for my manicure. Lots of time and attention to nail shaping cause mine are a little short for the almond shape I like, no issues requesting that they do not cut my cuticles. I left with the best finish I’ve ever gotten with dip, no rough edges to clean up at home. This mani cost around $60 and was completely worth it. My new go-to spot. Remember to make a reservation!
