Came up to this spot on a whim. I was getting my hair done nearby and thought I’d give them a try. I get dip nail fill with gel on top. These ladies knocked it out of the park. Super fast removal of old dip, and three weeks later they are still adhered all the way around, no chips or scratches (see second photo). Super impressed and the price was right. Come see them. They do stellar work.

All the girls do an amazing job I get a Natural ombre acrylic set and they always turn out great. The girls work fast a full set only takes one hour. They usually have appointments available the day of but I would call before going in just to be sure you have a seat when you get there. If you have cash available it’s cheaper because they charge 10% for cards. Def the best place I’ve found for nails and I’ve tried locations all over the states. Huge fan.

Can honestly say this is one of the best nail salons in Portland. The amount of work and attention these ladies put into getting the shape right and consistency with acrylic powder makes the experience worth it alone. I’ve gone to a couple of salons in the area and my nails have chipped or broken after a week, with only normal activity. I’m always impressed by my nails after I leave Nu Nails, and they are affordable for anyone who doesn’t have a disposable income. I will continue to use their services and recommend for anyone searching for a place in downtown Portland.

Okay, I would give it 5 stars but I had an experience. I’ve been here twice, the first time was to get my feet done and Kim did an awesome job. The second time I came around Kim was great again but I’m not to sure about how they price their gel polishes? And the quality of the nail polishes. The lady who did my nails didn’t get the size right and the orange she used on me I think was running out & if that was the case I would’ve like to know so I could’ve changed the color because my nails look like I did them with the last bit in the bottle. Two coats with a full bottle would’ve looked different.

Do not come here. She didn’t take all the shellac polish off from my last service. I couldn’t believe. Yes, of course I saud something. I should her in 4 places, which turn bright white when hit with lanolin. She actually told me the lump was underneath my nail. So…after the gaslighting I shut up. Tab for french shellac mani, and standard pedi was $65. Pics for proof. Painted.right.over.
