I have been going to my nail tech for the last five years and followed her here. She is absolutely amazing and this review is not geared towards her but to Nu Day and Nu Day’s front clerk. She makes the experience dreadful. My nail girl is so good that I know she books out quickly and understand that in order to see her I will need an appointment. Well the front clerk will not schedule your appointment when you are there. She asks you to call and schedule it. WHAT! Like WHY? I stepped out to my car and called from the parking lot to schedule my next appointment and she never picked up. She knew I was frustrated and probably knew it was me calling! So I called back the following day and she picked up and I asked to schedule my next appt in three weeks. Her response was “my calendar doesn’t go out that far. call me the week of” So, I call the week of— and SHE IS FULLY BOOKED!

I’ve been here a few times and liked it well enough to keep returning. Not again! She was literally about to slap a top coat on my nails looking like THIS, until I nicely questioned it. I asked if she was finished or if she was going to smooth this out. She said the polish was thick and rudely asked me “What do you want me to do about it?” Shocked, I said I didn’t know, but that clearly her polish was old and they needed new polish. The manager/owner even came over and also acted as if there was nothing wrong with this and both of them treated me as if I were being too picky. This looks like a child painted my nails! She redid them, but neither of them offered any apology for me having to spend twice as long there for a simple paint job. And, she still charged full price! A little customer service goes a long way, which they clearly don’t know anything about. There are PLENTY of other places to choose from.

Only giving 3 stars, not to bash this buisness but for something to change. I love my nail tech but the front clerk only lets you book a week in advanced. Overall booking is horrible. You can have an appt for a pedicure and still wait 30-45 mins. I’m a nurse so I came during my hr lunch break so basically just had my color changed cause i waited 30 mins passed my appt time to be attended. Appointments should be honored, if we take our time to call in advanced. It’s rude to have people waiting. I get walk ins but even with an appt you’re basically a walk in.

The massage was basically a lady just putting oil on me for 30 minutes. No accu or pressure, there is still old polish under the new and the new is not great. Not a great experience for the price.

Angie and Kevin take care of any design I bring to their table for my fingernails. They are thorough and hard workers. They are very good at their art. I appreciate how clean the salon is and I always look forward to my next visit.
