If you like mediocre work, then this is the place for you. These people are just taking your money. Tom and his wife, especially the wife, are not friendly. I came one time, and she’s standing up counting money and when I ask about the price she just said $35.00. Never looking at me as a customer, just counting her loot. Must be nice. They had a nail technician named Summer she did my nails twice, and then I made an appointment she never showed up even when she knew I was going on a cruise. Then another lady did them, and they were okay. Then I called again for Summer she left and took another nail tech with her and never said goodbye even though I had been calling her, she never picked up. Unprofessional indeed. I complained to Tom, he just shrugged his shoulders. Tom, the owner, just did my nails, and they broke and started lifting after two days. I didn’t have time to complain. I am a full-time college student, so I just used glue. Not only that, but I just called him this morning, he is like oh well. I’ve been to every nail shop within a five-mile radius and still can’t find a decent nail shop in Glendale. Furthermore, I’ve been here for twenty years, and I’ve only found one shop here on Glendale Avenue off of Broadway. Rose, the owner, knew how to do nails and how to treat her customers, but she sold her shop and the people she sold it to don’t know what they’re doing either. I’ve been wearing acrylic nails for over 30 years, so I know what I want and how to be treated. I’m not trying to sound racist because I’m African American. However, these Vietnamese folks come to this country, open up shop and grab the money without taking care of their customers. I guess they have not learned about keeping the customers happy. Customers will come back and will tell others about the service, if you are good. I’m sure some of you women want to be pampered. I’m used to getting my cuticles trimmed and clean under my nails without ruining the natural nail. And I like that special touch of putting lotion on my hands and arms and massaging them. Didn’t get that from none of the nail techs, and I have been there several times. If you like to be treated as just another woman who can sit down and get mediocre nails and not receive good customer service, then be my guest. As for me, I’m better than that and I want to be treated like the Queen that I am and after working hard for my money. I deserve it and so do you!! Sincerely, Annette Brooks. Tom the owner of Nikki Nails Too, this is for you, my good man. Written June 28, 2024

I’m so disappointed first I got an acrylic nail gel x, I noticed how bulky it looked and the shape was off too. The next day I noticed there was lifting on the sides and it wasn’t only one nail but a good amount was like that. When I went back after 4 days I told the lady who did it that it was lifting she told me it was fine it’s only two but it wasn’t okay they looked horrible. I was able to get them done again but this time I said dip nails and it’s been one day, I have no clue how this lady managed to mess them up again but they aren’t even lasting and they’re chipping. I’m never going back again it was a waste of money and she even demanded a tip to top it off.

I took my daughter to get her nails done and the results were disappointing. She explained that her nails were extremely damaged after she removed a previous acrylic set. She also stated that the man who did her nails was rough and aggressive causing her lots of discomfort during her service. We will not be returning.

I appreciated being able to walk in without a wait on a Sunday afternoon. I got a gel manicure that looked good overall when I left. 2 days later… already chipped. Not so happy about that.
