Customer Reviews:
Pros: My pedicure was great. The tech that did my toes was friendly and made some great suggestions. The manicure tech was really friendly as well and nice but the gel x skills are still being developed.
Cons: I called ahead to ask if they did the “Gel X” extensions, and I was told they did. As soon as she started doing my nails, I knew it was a bad idea because there were bubbles between the extensions and my nails… however, I’m not one to complain, and I wanted to trust the process.
After the extensions were done, I decided I could live with them… let’s get to the painting. I came in with my old polish and made it clear I wanted the same color. I saw the manager’s nails and also commented that I like her nail color. Long story short, there was no nude pink that came close to what I wanted. After much debate, I opted to pay extra for Tiger eye polish, which I wasn’t crazy about, but I thought it would be pretty cool… I was disappointed. It’s just shiny and glittery, but I don’t see any of the cool effects.
Fast forward to today: the polish on my right thumb is lifting because as my nail grows out, there was too much gel polish on my skin ( I was also very concerned about the amount of gel/glue on my skin). The nail on my right middle finger is cracked to the top of my actual nail. Let’s just say $70+ in the trash! Also, when I got home last Thursday, I noticed quite a few of my natural nails were separate from the artificial nail.
