Cristina provided wonderful service! I love my cut! I have long hair and it had been too long since my last cut. I loved the products she used and I purchased them without any pressure. She explained why and how to use the products. I have long hair and the cut took off a few inches, but I expected that as it had been months since my last. I’ll be back and would 100% recommend!

I have been going to NY NY Salon for a few years but recently have been going to Ryan. When I say I left that salon today feeling so happy and confident is an understatement. I was BEYOND satisfied with the results and was so excited to go out and show off my new hair. I wanted to add some lighter color for the summer and he made it look super natural while still giving me what I wanted. Not only is Ryan such a good, cool person but he is a true professional. It is evident that he has experience and it shows when he works. He is extremely attentive and would check on me every few minutes to make sure I was comfortable and doing okay! He also gave me a cut which was also exactly what I asked for. I highly recommended Ryan for anyone looking to feel like a super star after getting their hair done. I also want to say Abby took care of me with my wash and toner- she was super sweet and made me feel super relaxed! Thank you both for a great experience!

I received services in February and have waited to leave a review due to the nature of the horrible experience i had at this salon. I went in to see a stylist that I considered a friend/competent to cut off 4 inches of my hair. My original starting length was 28 1/2 inches, by the time the cut was done (I couldn’t see what the stylist was doing behind my head) my hair was 18 inches. This stylist cut 10 1/2 inches off my hair. Over a year and a half of growth. I did pay the $75 and later was texting the stylist telling her how devastated I was with the cut and how much emotional damage it has caused me. She offered to pay me through Venmo because she would have to get her manager involved and her manager is “really scary.” I attached the screenshot the owner Mary said didn’t exist when I told her the only reason I was offered to be paid by Venmo was because her employee said how terrified she was of her and she said that wasn’t true and that her employees all have an open/healthy relationship with her. Well here’s the proof. The stylist communicated with Mary the owner and she stated “it seemed like a personal issue and best to not get the salon involved.” I refused to accept that, so I calmly called the salon and was transferred to Mary, who yelled at me, belittled me, degraded me, had zero empathy for the fact she hired an incompetent stylist who cannot tell the difference between 4 to 10 inches. She was talking over me the entire time and had a raised, combative, hostile tone. it felt like I was arguing with a woman who was struggling to grasp the concept of getting more hair chopped off than you wanted was a bad thing. She never apologized and when I said “you didn’t even apologize” she said “oh I’m sure the stylist apologized” and I said “no, you haven’t apologized as the business owner for my horrendous experience” I told her when I am in that salon the stylist represents not only New York New York but also her as well. At the end of the call she was yelling at me and saying in almost a childish mocking way “I will reimburse you the money” and I ended the call. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a salon and I have made sure to tell everyone I know that this salon is a joke and a poor excuse of a healthy business. If your employees are stating how scary you are maybe it’s time to consider retirement or at the very least empathy training.

Destin was amazing! She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted/needed for my color and cut. Cannot recommend her enough!

Jordan did my nails and she was awesome! She made recommendations and when the color that i selected didn’t look the way it did in the bottle, she confirmed that I liked it before proceeding and it turned out that I didn’t so we switched colors. Overall a great experience and my nails look fabulous!
