I got a hybrid gel set and pedicure from Le and she did an amazing job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that.

I wanted to treat myself to a gel french mani and Betty did an amazing job!! She was so sweet and accommodating and had amazing suggestions for my manicure. Thank you so much! This place is such an iconic St. Pete landmark for me that I had never been to. Well worth the money!

Paid $165 (with 20% tip) yesterday for dip nail “extensions” and gel pedicure. Unfortunately, my nails were significantly shorter leaving than they were when I arrived and my gel pedicure is coming off after wearing sneakers to the store nearly 24 hours later. Will not be returning. For that price, quality wasn’t there. The techs were amazing, this is definitely a fault of ownership overpricing standard quality products/supplies. I also saw an elderly man nearly fall on the floor because the pedicure chairs don’t have proper steps to get up and down, they’re off to the side and not ergonomically correct.

It’s not about the money, it’s all about the quality you get for your money. I just didn’t feel right leaving here and when I called to clarify, the guy at the desk was incredibly rude and basically said “that’s just how we do it”. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after sitting on it I hope there’s action taken to improve their process for future clients.

I’ve been going here for almost a year and just had an experience last night that was very frustrating. Got a acrylic nail gel manicure from Kim. First, I noticed the tip on my thumb needed more glue on the edge. I pointed it out and she said, “no it doesn’t.” Argued with me, looked annoyed then added some more after I was continuing to look at it like, “there, happy now” type of vibe. She wasn’t very kind at first and eventually warmed up to me. During the drying process I took my hand out once because I thought I hit the edge of the inside. Naturally, I took it out to check if I did and needed a quick touch up and it was fine. Two rounds of drying and I asked if I should do a third and she said, “no just two” then ended up having me do a third round after she applied hand lotion. Today the paint is literally coming off the tips on one hand and there was bubbling on my other finger on the other hand. I called management to share this and they asked me to take pictures and email them, which is fair. They reviewed them and called back. They said it was because they asked Kim who said I took my hand out of the machine “multiple times” (not true, just once) and also could be because I switched services from power dip to acrylic gel. Which is total nonsense and simply a cop out. I took my hand out once and even asked if I should do another drying round and was advised not to. I feel they don’t want to take full responsibility and offered a (15%) discount off next time. There are tons of other salons in the area and they just lost a revisiting customer now. Waste of $82 dollars before the holidays. I should not be my word against theirs and go through an “investigation” process. My nails were not done correctly. Period. Debating with me just made it worse.

You have to bear in mind that this was a brand new set, done by them. Removal done by them. 3 broken nails, 2 repairs all within 2 weeks. They charge exorbitant rates and they nickel and dime clients for everything.

To charge clients for failures from your services is ridiculous and not a way to build a positive relationship with new clients nonetheless.

Review
My best friend booked us an appointment for our nails to be done together here. She had heard rave reviews. I’m not from the area so I’m always open to trying new salons with her. We booked for 2 full acrylic removals, 2 new full sets and a pedicure for myself. The pedicure was fine just basic and not worth writing home about. However, the nails are not at all what they should be. I held off on writing this review- even after my last interaction with the staff. Appointment was on January 14. We had booked together, asked to be together, that was not honored. One of my nails was broken on Tuesday the 16th(in my home town)- the entire nail popped off my index finger when a cashier tried to place a bag on my hand at Publix. I called shortly after so schedule a repair. I was back in the area Thursday but Friday was easier for me so I asked for Friday appointment. I was charged $7 to have the nail replaced, plus a healthy tip to my tech on Friday. I had a second nail break on January 22nd. I called January 23rd and went in the same day at 3pm. I was interrogated by the owner/manager? He didn’t even identify himself. Telling me how I was wrong for how I wear my nails and that acrylics are wrong for me. Telling me I need to move to a newer more expensive process called hybrid gel. I had already looked into it and it’s basically the dip powder ingredients within a polish. It’s not groundbreaking technology. I have had many acrylic sets on for 8 weeks without a single issue. I have been wearing acrylic nails for the better part of 20 years. I know my nails, I know what a good set and a bad set look like. Both of the nails that were repaired, look far worse than the original set to begin with. They are sized and shaped differently and it is glaringly obvious when you look at the nails side by side. Now that I have had yet another nail break (nail #3 on my right hand) I am just disappointed that this company has the glowing reputation they have for sub standard work. Maybe have your technicians apply the bonding in 2 steps as it is supposed to be, and your sets wouldn’t constantly pop and break. Once after tip is applied and shaped, then once immediately before the acrylic is applied. Also, if a client asks for a higher set point for the attachment of an extension, then you should probably listen to what they are saying, because the nails broke in the weak spot I identified during my visit.
