Worst experience I’ve ever had in a nail salon. The first picture shows the first day I went to the salon, which is a regular manicure (with Ali nail tech). I stayed under the dryer for more than 30 minutes waiting for my nails to dry. I got home and waited 3 hours before I showered and when I ran my nails through my hair this happened (this was a Friday). I called the salon the next day (Saturday) and I was told by receptionist to come back to fix them so I did. I asked for gel so same issue wouldn’t happen again and was charged extra $20 for gel, which was fine. (Ali was the one who fixed them again) Forward to Thursday, 5 days later, the gel started to chip off, be mindful I work as a receptionist and mostly use my hands to answer the phone. I called requesting a refund and was told by front desk receptionist that salon does not due refunds but I can come in to get them fixed. Fine, I went (Friday) and got my nails fixed my Sophia. I was informed by Sophia there are specific nail techs who actually know how to do a proper manicure. That’s not reassuring. Well, gel manicure was finished and looked absolutely amazing. Third picture is 6 days later, gel chipping off again. I live 30 minutes from the salon and I’m not trying to go every week to get my nails fixed especially when gel usually lasts me up to 2-3 weeks. I really did like my experience the first and second time I went to the salon but this last visit was the worst and unfortunately will not be back.

This was my first time getting my nails done here. I had on acrylics but I wanted to have them soaked off so I can do a UV gel builder full set. Su was my nail tech and she did an amazing job! She was very detailed, gentle, and patient. Loved the color I got too, its DND Elegant Pink with the blue-ish chrome on top! ($68 uv gel set + $15 acrylic soak off)

CLEANLINESS IS AN ISSUE. I am very concerned that after COVID the salon looks like this. No Barbicide in sight. Stations are not being cleaned between clients. Someone else’s nails were left behind, brushes are absolutely crusty & dusty and tools are not being properly sanitized. I am in the industry myself and I really hope this place does a deep cleaning and reorganizes ASAP and understands that keeping up with state laws and basic sanitation 101 is SUCH a priority in 2024.
The double dipping clients fingers in the powders and the simple sanitization of chairs & frequently touched items would be a game changer for this location! There is clearly a huge inconsistency with the work/ training person to person. The last person who did my pedicure used soo much polish it was dripping over my skin and never dried properly. Not to mention she cut me a few times. It’s so sad that as a paying customer who is used to good work, knows this pedicure won’t last because of the over usage of product and laziness/ lack of work ethic on the employees part. I usually have decent services. Always depends who you go to. I really hope someone sees this and makes the change because this place has so much potential. I would be careful what you touch/ putting hands to face/ cross contamination with this place. It’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Do better in 2024 guys. You have a beautiful and great location, I would hate to have something happen. Sincerely, New Jersey State Board. See photos:

This was my first time coming to this salon as it’s nearby, and this was nothing less than a disappointing experience. I came to get a basic pedicure and I was given Jean. She barely soaked my feet in the water for 30 seconds and began to try and work on my feet. She cut me 3 times and then burned those toes when wiping the alcohol on them. She continued to hurt me while trying to work on my cuticles because my feet were hardly soaked in the water. This entire pedicure was rushed and I am highly dissatisfied with this experience for such a beautiful place.

Nice place to look at, but they nickel and dime you here like crazy?? Every little thing costs extra, so be prepared! They have good techs and bad. As you can see, the last tech I got was supposed to be an Aa tech, but she was horrible! Bedside manner was non-existent, station was filthy, worked w/o the light on so she couldn’t see well, therefore my nails were all spotty and unevenly filed, she skipped steps in the process…didn’t do a clear coat of dip on top so when she filed them, she was filing the color down instead, didn’t trim my cuticles, barely rubbed the exfoliant on my hands…basically blobbed it on and told me to wash my hands… horrible! First time I ever walked out of a salon w/o tipping! I complained but manager wasn’t around. Just beware. Lots of much better nail salons in town.
