I was very happy with my manicure & the service & appreciated the extra attention to detail. 💅 I’ve been getting the dipping polish & I really like how my nails have been able to grow & I’m not breaking them. 👍👏

Amy, Helen and Kevin were so personable and kind. Amy’s attention to detail while she did my nails was well worth the 50 dollars for the gel dip manicure.
I’ll be back and I suggest more people check this place out.
The owners cleaned up the entire shop and made sure to sanitize everything. Thank you!

SLOPPY UNEVEN NAILS FROM MALE TECH WITH BAD ATTITUDE. The salon itself seemed pretty clean, and they have those standard massage chairs that almost every salon in the USA has. They were nice enough to show me how the remote worked without me asking, even though they are not complicated. Same remote as in other salons. They gave me a bottle of water too, like a lot of salons do. Nice touch. So far, it was very good, and similar to other salons. However, they did one of the most sloppy, messy jobs ever on my finger and toe nails. And I have been to countless salons in my lifetime, so I know how they SHOULD look. These pictures were taken right after I left the salon and got home. I was wearing flip flops and didn’t touch anything with my fingernails or toenails. Several of my nails were filed crooked, and when I asked to have them fixed, the tech got an attitude and claimed they were straight but that I could have them filed “if I want.” As if I was making it up. I told him to just look at them again and that I just wanted them even. He did not have a sense of symmetry. There is also an unfinished rough look on the sides of my nails (see pics). The Man who did my nails asked me if I wanted regular or gel polish, and when I said I wanted regular polish, he kept trying to convince me to get gel polish over and over again, at least 10 times. It was pretty obnoxious. Just OVER AND OVER AND OVER. It’s certainly okay to explain why he thinks gel is better once, or even twice. He seemed upset that I wanted regular polish. As if I’m not a 50 year old woman who has been polishing her nails with regular polish since she was about 6 years old. I’m pretty sure I know how regular nail polish works. There’s no need to explain it to me like I’m some kind of idiot. I have also gotten gel polish many times, and I just preferred regular polish that particular time. He seemed to think I didn’t want gel because it costs a few dollars extra. That was not why, but I didn’t feel the need to explain myself. And he should have honored that without questioning me so many times. The regular polish they ended up using was thick, old, and had bubbles in it. Maybe he didn’t want to use that polish because it was so horrible. Now, I will have to remove this polish and redo my nails with my own polish this evening. ALSO, he charged extra for an almond shape nail versus another shape. No other salon I’ve been to charges according to the shape of your nails. Furthermore, my toe nail polish looks unfinished, and there is still a ton of dry skin around the nails, even though I pointed it out and asked to have it removed when I got there. (see pics). EDIT: It’s the day after, and it already looks like I need a fill!
