DO NOT FO HERE.
Legit the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I went with someone and when we walked in they looked us up and down and stared before asking what we wanted. I came for an acrylic refill with medium length nails and they kept going on about how they “don’t do long nails” and glaring, like?? When I asked for a design (French tips) they straight up refused to do them. They rushed the whole time and were just plain rude. My nails are BUMPY and the color is splotchy in a lot of places. The person I went with got a regular manicure and her polish is also real splotchy and rushed.

It’s also Important to note that we were the only two black people there. All the other white clients nails looked great. Ours didn’t. They were treated kindly, we weren’t.

I’m going to get these nails removed, would not recommend.

Good pricing. I’ve had nice pedicures here with polish or gel. Tried going in for SNS dip nails and didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing, and felt rushed. Most of my nails cracked after a few days or fell off. Don’t recommend if you’re going to the dip nails, otherwise maybe it’s okay?

What should have been a relaxing day off, turned horrific.

I frequent these 2 salons in my neighborhood, as they are the closest to my house, and are within 5 mins of each other. I generally favour the beacon location for different reasons and only go to belle view if beacon is unavailable. I had tried to call beacon to get in for a gel mani/pedi, but their phone was not working, so I called the belle view location to make an appointment. I showed up and gave them my name, and they looked at my nails to confirm what I wanted, before asking me to pick a colour. I chose the colour and sat down to have my pedicure done which already felt rushed, and took about an hour. After the pedi, the nail tech guides me to her table for the manicure. She then confirms with me if I want the same colour on my hands. I said yes, and wanted to do a different shape. She asked which one, I told her stiletto and showed her a picture. She showed her coworker and then said, “we don’t do that shape.” I had gotten it done at both locations before, so I was taken aback and asked for clarity. I was then told, “what about square or coffin? We don’t do long nails here. We can cut and add acrylic for you. ” Now I am confused, and getting angry. I asked them, ‘so which is it? Do you not do long nails, or do you just not do the shape? These are my real nails. Why would I have to cut my long REAL nails to add long fake ones?’ They responded, “we don’t do long nails here.” So they were willing to do them if I kept them square. At this point on a late Sunday afternoon, I had to think fast to find another place to get a manicure. No time to cause a scene, I paid for my pedi and left. I took an Uber to beacon and found nails america open.

I told them what happened, and they took me, but gave attitude and mediocre service the entire time. I was there for 3 hours. No massage, nothing. When it came time to pay, the tech was rushing and seemed more concerned with how much I was going to tip her. I told her to hold on and handed her my credit card to pay for my service while she was rushing me to hand her the cash tip. I’m standing there waiting for their archaic payment processing system to work and she’s asking if I have more cash because the machine isn’t working. I tell her no. I try giving her my debit card to see if that would help, to no avail. They don’t even have ATM machine in the establishment for things like this. The tech then says, “I can’t let you go. You have to leave something here and go get cash.” I look at her puzzled and tell her, ‘how can I go get cash with you holding my debit card?’ She then calls her boss who tells her to take my info, which she did and I took a photo to document. I work in a busy mall with many nail salons that have atms in the bathroom.

I work so hard to provide exceptional service to my clients. When I’m off, I have very few opportunities to get pampered for once. I went home and broke down to my very confused husband.

I think I’m pretty much done with both locations at this point. Time to find a new nail girl.

Great go-to place for me for pedicures and manicures – awesome massage chairs.. I melted into one the other day while soaking my feet. You can choose from a regular pedi or sea salt, or other deluxe options with more massage time. Good value!

I felt uncomfortable. I asked for a fill in and they treated me like they didn’t want me there. I don’t know if they are racist but it surely felt like it. They were talking in their language and told me that they couldn’t service me because they were busy but there were only two customers in the nail salon. I was told that they can’t service me because my nails are too long but my nails are short and natural. I walked out and they could careless. I could tell that they didn’t want me there. The hatred and lack of customer service was inappropriate and unprofessional.
