I have been trying many of different nail salons around and have yet found a good place to go until today! Not only did Star do an amazing job but she made sure I was okay and didn’t have any issue from soaking off my old set to the length and shaping of my new set to the color. Also, this salon is one of the well kept clean salon I’ve been to. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to anyone!

I was looking at Tik Tok on the morning of 07/12/24, saw a positive review about the nail salon, and decided to go there shortly after they opened up. I was a walk-in, nervous trying out a new nail salon, and was greeted right away. I had a photo for what I wanted my mani/pedi to look like and I got exactly what I desired. The gel pedicure was done by Isabelle, she was friendly, and my feet came out beautiful. A full set of nails with dip powder was done by Star. She was also friendly, we had a pleasant conversation, she answered all my questions, and my nails came out beautifully too. I hope I spelled their names correctly. I enjoyed my experience and booked an upcoming appt. before I left.

I called ahead to inquire if this salon offered a powder dip service. I was informed they do not dip the nails in the powder post-Covid. Instead, they do a powder overlay with acrylic.

In truth, I had no idea what that meant and was ok with the taking the gamble.

Visit 1:
Apparently the color I chose was problematic with the drying process because after everything was done, the product felt like rubber on my nails and it was peeling off. The technician was very apologetic and said she would fix it. It was “fixed” by applying an overlay of acrylic- which turns out it was a missed step. This was the technicians 2 or 3 day of work. It’s all good. We all have to start somewhere. Hindsight, I knew I was taking a gamble. Unfortunately my nails looked and felt bad and I didn’t have the time to stay for a soak off and fix.

I approached one of the owners and showed her my nails. She told me to come back and get my nails re-done.

Visit 2:
I contemplated not going back and just dealing with it. And I’m so happy that I went back. The application was the same but Sam’s technique was clean. She really knows what she is doing. And, I am pleased with how my nails turned out!

The atmosphere was friendly with easy going conversation. It felt like the technicians treated each other like family and that rolled over to the customers. That’s rare and special.

I plan to go back for other services like pedicure, wax and henna. However, I will not get powder done again. The process is just too long for me and I like having my nails dipped and cured.

I have gotten this service about a half dozen times now at different salons and a normal soak and powder change usually takes about 40-45 minutes. If the place is busy, up to 60 minutes.
I was there for almost 2 hours, each visit. I deducted two stars for the length of time to receive the service and the first visit.

I hope this is helpful for anyone who has had a less than favorable experience – go back and give it another try. You might have a totally different experience for the better. Just like I did!

From the phone, to the Door, to the chair 🪑, my experience was LOVELY! Everyone was so kind and pleasant and professional. MaMa C did my nails 💅 in a way NO one else ever has. They have a beautiful collection of polishes, clean chairs and waiting area, nicely ventilated, and A+ energy. They truly Nail’d it!

I got henna done here from a Groupon and the lady who did it was super quick but the quality was amazing. 🥹
