The owners were friendly, cool, and down to earth. I love my nails!! Teacup John did an awesome job! My boyfriend said it’s the best my nails have ever looked. I plan on coming back with my mom to get a pedicure.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Tracy and everyone who works at Nail Star. Have been coming here for years to have my nails done and have NEVER had an issue or problem. Everyone here is so friendly and nice. Have a complete set of nails and fill done every few weeks. I really appreciate Tracy’s patience because I never know what color or design I want so she ends up picking for me!! Also an amazing job!! Thanks Tracy!!!

Services are inconsistent between nail techs. Last month’s pedicure was excellent. Today’s was okay. Polish not smooth in spots and toes could have been covered a smidge more. Mask not rinsed off entirely leaving a stiicky residue on the back of my legs. BIG ISSUR: Online prices are significantly lower than their in salon prices! My pedicure was $5 higher in salon!! When I questioned the price, I was given the lower price somewhat willingly.

I believe the owners have three small dogs that roam the store. I have no problem with this, but the dogs are not housebroken! My tech had to stop my pedicure and go mop up a puddle while I was there. The “clean up” bucket sits behind the reception desk. Not only is it tacky, but I’m actually wondering what kind of health situation this situation presents. Just saying…

Highly disappointed in the service here. The owners seem to be very nice and I did come in the last business hour of the day but it resulted in my nails being rush, different sizes and lifting after less than two weeks. This was a $58 service and the lack of care taken with my nails was beyond me. Of course all I can do is make a review bc of course it isn’t realistic going into an asian salon as a black woman making a fuss. You’re better off going to to an independent nail artist, they’re more patient attentive and quality of work is much better

Before I explain why I rated so low, I do want to make it known that I am one who usually leaves reviews unless positive. I know sometimes things happen, so I try to give the benefit of the doubt. But I feel like I need to say something so others don’t go, waste money, leave upset and taken advantage of.

My husband and I went for a relaxing Saturday morning together and ended up spending $150 for THE worst pedicure we’ve ever had. We are pretty laid back; certainly not people who have unrealistic or high expectations. But when you get a pedi, there are some norms that you know you receive with any standard pedi. Such as cutting nails, shaping, cuticles, removing dead skin, etc. Now mind you, we also asked for the deluxe pedi so we should have received these standard services along with our additional deluxe services we paid extra for. NOPE! We did not receive anything besides a cold water tub, a foot scrub gel and then toenail polish that was even the WRONG polish I chose. I left there extremely disappointed and upset.

I do want to state that I tried working with them, being patient and understanding. But after asking a few times to cut my nails, put warm water in the tub, the foot massage I paid for and the correct color, I just gave up. The girl kept giving excuses. I had enough arguing and dealing with incompetency. They did not have any desire to actually provide the services we paid for.

So, If you do decide to go, just be aware that their standard pedi starts at $40, which isn’t bad. But If you ask for a different package that has more options, you won’t actually receive any of the additional options they say they add on. Hell, you won’t even receive a good service when paying for a standard pedi. They will just take the increased amount of money they charge you and give the bare minimum so they can at least say they gave you the pedi. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
