This post is not about the service that I receive. I have always been pleased with the service. However, the hours of operation are not dependable. They are supposed to open at noon on Sunday and I waited 30 minutes today and no one showed up. It is frustrating to drive there having a limited amount of time and not be able to get a pedicure and then not have enough time to go to another salon. Three other customers showed up and waited. That is bad business practice. Either be open when you advertise you are open or change the advertising. And if it is due to an illness or emergency, have some post a note on the door.

It’s almost like I went to a salon that’s just starting out on to do nails, all around a bad experience. I asked for a specific design in Dip, and she did say she could do it, but she didn’t say what the process was, only that it was going to cost extra because it takes longer. Fine no problem, but she didn’t tell me what she needed to do, had she told me she was going to put Gel over the Dip, I would’ve picked something different. 2 stars because she got the color design I asked for.
I needed some old Gel removed, and she tried to use a nail Tip remove it. I asked her “hey, doesn’t that damage the nail, thats the whole point of Dip, to not damage the nail””no, it’s fine”, as I see it’s peeling my nail -_-. As she’s removing the rest of the old Gel with the drill, she kept knicking my skin because she was rushing so much. I got a manicure too, she rushed through the entire thing because she had to make her meeting at 7, by the time she was putting the new Dip on, she kept having to go back every finger to retrim my cuticles because she did a half as job the first time.
For someone that was in such a rush, she sure could not stay off her phone, talking and texting the whole time, I tried to make conversation with her but she was so uninterested. She’d rather be on her phone or talk to her coworkers or one of the regulars, and she spoke perfect English so it wasn’t a language barrier. I guess because I was young and covered in tattoos she expected me to not tip her or just never come back, but I still tipped and for sure will not be back for another service. I’ve never gotten nails done that were already lifting not even 3 days later, and 2 broken nails, the first just the same day I got them done. Lifting from the sides and the front of the nail, oh AND she messed up my shape and there’s nothing I can do to fix it but let them grow back out and get them done properly.

I usually never write reviews, but I had to let people know about my experience so this does not happen to anyone else. I waited a while to talk about this hoping my nails would heal, but they have not. About a month ago in december I had some clear dip nail polish that I wanted taken off, and this nail salon was so conveniently located for me i decided to walk and get my nail polish off and wear my natural nails for a while. When I sit down, the older lady looks at my nails and says “this is acrylic, not dip.” I tell her, “sorry ma’am, but no, this is regular clear dip polish.” For five minutes, she goes back and forth with me telling me that these are acrylic nails, I didn’t know what I was talking about (even though I have never gotten acrylic nails in my life), and she finally believed me when she asked for a second opinion from I am guessing the female owner. Not sure how I wouldn’t know about my own nails, but okay.

The older woman then starts to drill off the clear dip polish from my nails, as she should since this is how you get off dip polish, but in between drillings, she gets up and walks away to do something else, then comes back and continues to drill. I think each time she would get up to walk away she would forget how many times she would drill, because she just kept going, even when I was sure there was no more clear dip powder on my nails. She seriously continues drilling my nails to the point where she ended up actually completely drilling my OWN nail bed, and my nail beds are still destroyed to this day from this. Also, when she finally finished doing this, I told her I needed my nails cut because they were long, but instead of cutting them with clippers first then filing, she ONLY filed my long nails down, and that’s it. It was so painful because they were so long and I cannot believe she wouldn’t cut them first. I left that salon with my nails and hands in pain for almost a week afterwards, I couldn’t grab anything, couldn’t wash my hands under hot water because they were so sensitive, etc.

In the pictures you will see, my nail beds have still not healed from this. I cannot grow my nails long anymore, they are so weak now and they break before I can get anywhere in the growth process. Also, it looks like I am going to have to completely start over with my nail beds to get them back to looking like they used to. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I have had at a nail salon. The lack of care they put into me and me having a good experience was shocking. If they truly cared about my nails, she would not have continued to drill down my nails after the clear dip polish was gone, she would have realized it was fully removed and then stopped. PLEASE be cautious before you go to this nail spa. If you have had a great experience there, amazing, but I hope that no one has to experience what I did.

While the price for a full set of acrylic was $40, She never used a light to dry my nails, not once, and rushed through the whole thing. My nails are uneven and i left with not fully dry nails. The acrylic doesnt even fully cover or fit my actual nails. I have no idea why she let acrylic nails air dry other than to hurry & get to one of the women waiting, maybe because she was a regular and knew she’d be tipped good? Just look at the attached pictures. My nails really just look like walmart press on’s that are uneven

I had an awesome experience at this salon tonight. They worked me in which was so kind, and my technician Karen might be my new favorite person. She did a wonderful job and was so fun. Super clean too!
