I found a New Years Eve nail design on printes. I asked if they were able to do this design. Not only did she do every finger. They looked better than the photo. I love this place and will continue to do business here!

Such a clean salon. So many choices and all the employees were so nice. They had great sense of humor and made you feel welcomed. Definitely will return soon.

I would stay away from Nail Spa in Swansea Illinois if I were you. I took my four-year-old granddaughter here for her very first manicure and I was horrified at the way the manicurist treated my granddaughter. Not one smile, not one comment, not one eye contact the whole time she sat there. I sat next to my granddaughter upon request because they wanted to separate us by three chairs but I explained I wanted my young granddaughter sitting next to me for obvious reasons. These people were very unfriendly from the moment we walked through their door. Not to mention the bowls they wanted us to soak our hands in were so filthy it appeared to have dead skin floating in it along with other particles in the water: and when I rubbed my fingers in my bowl and felt the crustiness I asked to see my granddaughters bowl. Sure enough her bowl was the same. Because the manicurist looked so irritated that I asked for clean bowls, I tried to explain to her that my two-year-old grandson had leukemia so we had to be very careful with germs and bacteria, but instead of offering some kind of “sorry to hear” they looked so insulted that I asked for them to rinse our bowls out. Further I walked out with smeared thumbs since they didn’t have any spray or fans to quick-dry them. I should not have had to ask for a fan but I did, and once again they gave me that irritated look. When I attempted to get the fan for myself after my granddaughters nails were dried that is when my thumbs smeared. Both of the manicurist basically left my granddaughter and I there without even saying goodbye, or thank you. The man who did my nails was so irritated that I smeared my thumbs and wanted to take the nail polish off but I was almost in tears and could not get out of there quick enough: so I basically said no thank you and that I would do them myself at home. The next day we celebrated Thanksgiving as a family, and since I didn’t have time to do them after the incident they were smeared. I would not recommend this place. In closing, when I paid for services I asked the tip go to the man only and not the woman who treated my granddaughters so terribly. And I don’t know if it was the manager or whomever, but she said, “oh no no she’s not rude”. Several of my family members asked why I didn’t just walk out and spare my granddaughter from such a horrible experience: I explained I had been promising my granddaughter a manicure so she could get her purple fingernails done and that she was so excited about it and that I was short on time. I do regret not walking out but also paying them and even leaving a tip for the man who did my nails. Go somewhere else if I were you. Halo has a very nice customer service oriented manicurist but you have to make an appointment since there’s only one of them I believe. We will be going there the next time.

I’m not advertising for the hammer, just the nearest prop I had, anyway my experience…Mid. I’m not sure if it was because I went in an hour before they were closing, however I called and asked if someone had time for the services I was asking for, yes was my answer to that. I had never gone here before so I figured I at least call beforehand. I get there two customers are waiting and three are being serviced. One of the employees greets me and ask what I wanted I told her, no problem. I was told to go the 3rd chair, I do so. I was not paying close attention when the employee that was about to work on my pedicure came over and sat down, now she already had gloves on because she had just came from doing a lady’s pedicure in chair 1. I had to ASK her if she changed her gloves, this lady acted like I didn’t say a word to her and proceeded to talk to the employee next to her. I took my headphones out and politely as possible, and repeated my question after she didn’t even answer. So finally after I snatched my foot away she said, “yes”. That was strike 1,2 and 3 for me. I wanted to just get out of there, not a relaxing experience AT ALL. They had some rock music playing so loud, no shade but that typically isn’t a relaxing genre. I’m not there to head-bang, I want to chill and get my feet/hands pampered…Two employees ended up working on me at the same time, that was um invasive. They were rushing and kept messing up taking more time smh. It was absolutely not worth the $122.00 I paid had them. I left irritated but they look good in the end, just a crazy experience.

I had a 12pm appointment that I called the day before to schedule because I needed to get my nails done on my lunch break when I had time. I get to the shop at 12 and my nail artist is working on another customer. Another artist takes off my nail polish and then has me wait in the waiting area. I waited for almost 40 minutes before I had to walk out because there was no way I was going to have time to get done. I had to walk out with my nails looking horrible and my nail artist Michelle barely even spoke to me to greet me or tell me she was overbooked or anything. This is absolutely unacceptable. Now I have to find a new shop to get my nails done.
