I’ve been a loyal customer at Nails of America for as long as I’ve lived in Houston, and I can confidently say it’s an exceptional experience. Whenever friends or visitors come to town, Nails of America is a must-visit spot.

Tammy, my nail technician for the past three years, has provided consistently excellent service. Their service packages range from $40 to $100, but in my opinion, the $100 package doesn’t offer significantly more value than the one just below it. The main difference is additional massage time, which I always appreciate.

Tammy is my favorite, and even when she went back to Vietnam for the holidays last December, I patiently waited for her return. These relationships we build with our self-care providers are invaluable. I remember her birthday, and she remembers mine. It’s more than just goods and services; it’s a personal connection.

The salon’s ambiance is top-notch. Multiple TVs play different shows to cater to your preferences, and they even offer liquor. Every person I bring here, especially those visiting from out of town, is pleasantly surprised. They not only enjoy their experience but also make it a priority for their next visit. It’s a must-visit spot in Houston.

Each visit is hit or miss. I’ve been coming here for about a year hoping things will get better, but they haven’t. The convenience is what kept me coming back, but the quality of work is sub par. When I had my dip done at my previous nail salon in Fort Worth, they would last me a whole month with zero chips. Of course they would be grown out, but all still in tact, and they didn’t use the shellac coat with the UV light like they do here and is supposed to “last longer”. Lily was an absolute doll, and I thought I had found my new nail place in Houston, but as I mentioned the quality just isn’t there. I work a desk job that does not require heavy lifting or work that would damage my nails, yet here we are about a week after I got my dip done and 5 nails have chipped (thumbs not pictured but those were the first to chip). I had to file them down because they keep getting caught on my clothes.

This place gets stars for convenience and their service (specifically Lily who is awesome). I hope they can improve their quality. I may give them another shot in the future.

I came here for the first time today with my daughter and we did a regular mani tor both of us. They asked if my daughter wanted an eyebrow waxing and If I wanted a shellac I kindly declined. My issue was that when it was time to pay was that they overcharged me 10 dollars because I had an old nail polish on 3 nails. I think that was an extreme reach for money. I even tipped them. I will never be coming back here again!!!!!

I usually come to this place but after today I think I’m not going too. The person who did my nails did a horrible job never asked me if I liked my nails or anything, shape is so uneven. I feel super rushed. Front staff didn’t even ask if everything went well. I don’t think the nails I got done were worth $55.
