I’ve been going here on and off for years. To be honest sometimes my nails are great and last a month, sometimes they start coming off after a week and half. I’ve mostly been satisfied though. Today I went and Tom did my nails, he did a beautiful job, only thing with going to him is you got to have extra time cause he takes his time and literally perfects your nails so you’ll be there awhile but will come out with gorgeous nails!!!

I haven’t had my nails done in quite a few years. I called around a few places near 23 and Gratiot. Two were quite expensive and booked completely. I figured I would take a chance on this place. I got a full set of gels with shellac two colors for $40. It’s been a full week and they are still going strong polishing all. wanted to wait before I made this post. Now the only reason I’m giving four stars is because the lady that did my nails was quite rude and didn’t bother to thank me when I gave her a 40% tip. She also cut my cuticle with the tool. It would also have been helpful to let me know that there was a cash only policy for tips when I called, and that they prefer cash payments and offer discounts. All in all I got a beautiful set of nails and will be back for the price and product quality.
UPDATE: Go to Nadia! I got Steve once and my fill was terrible. She’s done my last two sets (with designs) and they’ve been amazing! Will only go to her now.

I went in there last night to get a full set and I normally get glow in the dark acrylic or the colored acrylic. This was my first time at this salon. I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to get started which is fine I was walk in. I had to have the lady put acrylic all the way up to my cuticle because I would have had to come back in a week to get them filled from how far she was going down for my cuticle. And then she didn’t tell me how much it was going to be I got six black nails and four green glow in the dark nails and she charged me $68 without any nail art or anything on them. Then I’m looking at them and there’s deformities in multiple of my nails where it’s not all the way up to my cuticle evenly and a couple of my nails are fat at the ends of my nails where she didn’t shape them properly. It’s a good thing I had the money in my bank account because she didn’t say anything about how much it was going to be before I started. I know that the color acrylic is a little more expensive but I was thinking like 40 to 50 not 68. I will not be going back there.

Pretty decent place, out dated but still a good place for a pedicure. No menus but she said regular pedicures are $30 and deluxe is $37. Massage could have been better but I did feel like she took her time and wasn’t rushed like half of the other modern nail salons today. I’ll be back!

i’ve given this place a try multiple times. like 5 or 6. everytime my nails are coming off within a week. always lifting and am able to peel off the nails with ease. i don’t think they use proper bond and primers. my $60 dollar manicure that i tipped $10 on shouldn’t be coming off in a week.
