I came in to get my acrylics off and for them to put gel over my nails. The lady was rushing the whole time and didn’t pay attention. She filed my nails so thin to the point where they’re red and painful to the touch. I’ve had acrylics taken off before, so I understand my nails will be weak afterwards, however my nails have never been so damaged where I can’t touch them without pain.
The lady also kept cutting me with the drill and I kept jumping and saying “ow” but she giggled and said something along the lines of “it doesn’t hurt.” She was chatting with her coworkers the whole time and wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing. When I got home I noticed that the gel started to bubble up and it was even wet. This means she didn’t let my nails cure in the UV machine long enough. I ended up having to take off the gel polish to feel relief of my fingernails.
I’ve attached photos of what they look like. They’re breaking more everyday and they are too thin to file them in a shape. Because of this, I’ll have to wait around a month or so for my nails to thicken and not feel painful. I put clear polish over my nails in hopes it would protect my nails.
I would go back and have Nail City fix them but my nails are so brittle and painful I don’t trust them to not damage them further.

After 4 tries of nail art, this is the end result. A 1st grader could do a better design. Had to go to another nail place for them to redo this design. So frustrating. Would not ever go back.

Wish I could no 0 stars… Took my daughter to get her toes & nails gel polished for her birthday. After paying & leaving out the store the gel Polish peeled off 1 finger. I took her back & they fixed it. We continued to shop the mall & through out the day they started peeling off 1 by 1. I contacted the store to rectify the situation & all I got was disrespect in return. I called yesterday (3/18/23) they told me the manger was on a smoke break. I called back today & The dude who answered the phone LIED & said the manager was a woman turns out the manger is a man. Then I get “the manager” & his exact words to me were “THAT’S NOT MY PROBLEM” & “IM NOT REFUNDING YOU” my baby is devastated & crying 😢 because she wants her nails like mine (went to a different place days prior) & now I have to dispute this $50 charge with my bank 🙄 & figure something else out for her. I tried to do things the nice easy way BUT that’s not working out. Dont ever pay these…. People… to give you good service. They spend more time to “mingling & chatting” with the customers about the customers personal life than they do on providing good service. I’ll never spend my hard earned money with these unprofessional, low class, unqualified mfs again.

Amy is amazing but she was not there so I went to Jeff he cut my finger and the nail polish was sloppy it also said $35 on the bored for a fill it ended up 45 with tthe tip it was 58 dollars and I could have gotten a new set for that price

I got my nails done five days ago and it looks like they’ve been on for two weeks. I was charged $20 more then the price that was on the board? Why was an acrylic set $33 on the board but I was charged $51.48? I even left a cash tip over 20% so really I paid over $60. Definitely will not return.
