I had a fantastic experience at Modern Nails and Spa, thanks to Bryan’s exceptional skills. He expertly shaped my nails, took great care of my cuticles, and paid special attention to my sensitive thin nails. Despite not being able to leave a tip this time, I’m leaving this glowing review to express my gratitude. Bryan is the best, and I can’t wait to return for another fabulous set 😻

This is my second time coming here and they did such a great job! I kept seeing their ads on Instagram and decided to finally give them a chance. The first time I came in, I was a walk-in for an extra long full set with nail art and a pedicure. This time, because it was the Friday before Christmas, I scheduled an appointment in the morning for a full set with single color gel with any artist for the afternoon. When I arrived I was seated with Amy. She was so kind, so sweet, and she did such a great job!!! I was nervous about getting a different nail artist from the one I had when I did my walk-in because there can be a difference in quality with each nail artist, but everyone there is so talented that there was no dip in professionalism, service or quality. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future. I finally found a permanent nail salon in Austin! ❤️❤️❤️

I love the way my nails came out! I never got my nail techs name but she was so attentive to detail and spent 1.5 hours on my nails which I appreciate! very clean place and reasonable prices! I got these plus toe polish for $76! the nails were $55 since I got tips and then $6 for the design. Really happy and will return!

I really enjoy coming here! Whether you make an appointment or a walk in they try to accommodate you almost immediately. I went in for my Valentine’s set and showed them a picture online and they matched it so well! Everyone complimented my nails even now that they are due for a refill! Lol. Usually my nails pop off but these were so well made I’m going in to get a new set with these STILL on! Honestly really happy with their work. Their pedicures can definitely get worked on to be better (then again I got the most simple since I was in a rush), and their chairs aren’t as comfy as I’d like but better than most places. Offers you beverages as well. Alcoholic and Non. Large selection of colors which I appreciate. I like to keep up with their social media pictures to get inspo for when I go in.

2.75 stars. Not the worst, but definitely not the best mani/pedi I’ve ever received. I called ahead to ask if they did Gel X hard gel nails and they said yes, so I booked. Turns out they only use the tips and not the same gel X hard gel that can be used without the tips, but they said they could do a builder gel which was (supposed to be) the same thing; it was not. So I basically got an overpriced gel manicure with wavy nail texture since my previous gel X nails had been removed without evening out the base. She also cut my natural nails too short to do my preferred almond shape, but I’ll attribute that more to the confusion that I didn’t want gel X tips and she thought she would build the shape with the tip extensions.
I also got the classic pedicure and was very disappointed. At the end my heels were clearly still rough to the touch and visibly flaky so I asked if they could be buffed and smoothed a little more, but instead she just added more lotion to my heel which didn’t solve anything. If there was a massage, I didn’t feel it. In my opinion there was no effort put into actually buffing and smoothing the heels or underside of my feet.
The receptionist and most other staff didn’t make eye contact and seemed at best unbothered. They did have good mimosas and other drink options, though I had to ask for them instead of being offered anything. I came on a Tuesday midday and it wasn’t busy.
Total was $92 not inclusive of the tip; left very disappointed.
