I’m originally from Detroit, Michigan. I moved to Greer, South Carolina almost 11 years ago this September. I’ve been going to Modern Nails ever since. I will not go anywhere else. They’ve always been super attentive to my wants and needs. I’ve built a great rep-ore with the amazing staff. I have zero complaints, nothing but 100% satisfaction. I had the same guy as reviewer Lily Shelton over a year ago. Why is he still working there? REMOVED cuticles with a grinding/sanding tool of some kind. I thought you weren’t supposed to remove them, but push them back? …. but what do I know, so I allowed him to continue and today am wearing band-aides and antibiotic ointment to prevent infection from the cutting that caused them to bleed. Gell does not go to the sides of my nails in many places, and is jagged at the base of a few nails. Will not be returning. I was happy with the previous visit with lady in first chair at the window, but since it’s a roulette as to who you get each time, I’m not willing to risk my nail health.

0/10- do not recommend!!! I went in to get a deluxe pedi and full set. I was barely addressed when I came in. After about 4 minutes-someone said hello and asked what I needed. I told them and explained I wanted “Regular” nail polish and one of the older gentleman did not appreciate me not wanting “gel.” He turned his nose up like I had farted and was like “ noooo you need gel, it’s better.” I said, once again- I wanted regular and he waved me off to go choose a color. At first I was going to go ahead and choose a color, but then I thought- “no.” It’s disgusting how people think bc they run a business- they can speak to you and treat you anyway they feel. Stop getting mad at a customer because they DONT WANT WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE. We have options and can spend our money how we want, when we want.. awful customer service!!!

Place is not worth the time got here at 1:30 with may daughter they took her back maybe 45 minutes later but I’m still setting here why sign in on paper if your just going to keep taking people as they walk in but not bother the ones that are setting down I won’t come back here. Wait to see what my daughter’s nails are going to look like. Hope she likes them.

my nails did not turn out how they should have. I got dip powder and my nails are so lumpy! Also the guy cut 3 of my cuticles with the drill. Also, my daughter got her nails painted and they didn’t shape them or anything. They just globed on the paint. She said I do it better and I’m not a professional.
