Model nails

I have been getting my nails done at model nails for a year now and they always do such a great job! These are my current nails for Valentine’s day done by Joanne. I am obsessed! 😍 💅🏼

First time here and I will most definitely be back! I usually to another local spot but decided to give this place a try and so glad I did.

I had both a pedicure and a manicure. Both techs were so detailed and took their time. The massage with both was the best I’ve had at any nail salon across the country. I’ve lived in 6 states and this was so good. I do not get my nails done often, but I might have to now that I found this place.

I’m disappointed. I was pressured into getting the basic manicure after I asked for dip. Also the nail tech broke my nail then charged me 10 extra for having to take off my dip? After she broke nail. This is how my nails look. Not ok

I wish I had taken a better photo because this one does not do justice to the quality of their work. I went in the day before my babyshower with a photo reference of what I wanted and she totally did more than I expected. I was treated so kindly and they took their time with me–I will absolutely be coming back!

I was extremely disappointed by the terrible service I received. I have a particular hereditary condition with my nails, which makes them thicker than regular nails. I explained that to the technicians and expressed how I would like them to handle my nails. The first technician was completely rude and did not listen to what I asked for. Then she started loudly talking about my condition to all the other technicians in the salon in their native language. I was literally in tears while she was doing my nails, but she did not even acknowledge that or show any sort of compassion or understanding. Mid way through the appointment, another technician who had done my nails at a prior appointment, took over and completed the task. But again, she did not express any understanding or empathy. I was surprised by how cruel people could be. I still paid the bill and included a tip and left. When my husband picked me up after the appointment, I was so visibly upset that he insisted on going into the salon to make an official complaint. He made it a point to do so calmly and explain clearly what the issue was. However, the technicians refused to accept or understand what he was saying, and instead said that I was just extra sensitive because I was pregnant! I have always found it hard to try new nail salons because I never know if the technicians will be able to handle nails like mine. But this is by far the worst experience I have had.
