***UPDATE*** I went back to get them fixed, and they look much much better. The last 4 pictures are the nails after having been redone. They weren’t fully taken off and redone but I suspect they would have been if I had asked for a different color, which personally I am fine with. They were very nice, just as they were the first time around. She told me that since I have deep cuticles it is more difficult to keep the dip powder clean and what not. Which totally may be the case, however they did a great job this time and it’s never been a problem previously. All in all I’m happy with them, and i just wish they had taken the care to do them like this the first time around.

I want to preface with my hands are clean. There is no dirt on my hands, it’s all dip powder that’s been glued or trapped on my finger with some other dip liquid. If you look closely you will see glue and top coat dried on my fingers, dip powder literally everywhere, and all kinds of build up underneath my nail. The nail shapes themselves are lumpy and inconsistent. The girl I had went very quickly and did a super sloppy job. She was also talking on the phone and texting multiple times at the beginning. Which i wouldn’t care if my nails came out good, but they didn’t. I paid $55 plus a $10 tip because I always feel bad not leaving a tip, you never know what the situation is, and I’ve worked on tips before.

Also the place is not clean. Someone else posted a review that the towels weren’t clean and the tools were messy, which was absolutely accurate. I’m not saying the tools hadn’t been disinfected because i really don’t know. But they were definitely messy looking. The girl also wiped her nose on her arm a couple times which i was kind of shocked by lol. I see that they have a 7 day warranty so I will go back next weekend and try and get them fixed. I’ll post my update then.

My mother, daughter, and I have been getting our nails done at Mimosa Nails & Wax for years and have literally never been disappointed! Whether it’s requesting a very specific design or style or painting galaxies on my very active daughter’s tiny nails, the team at Mimosa always exceed our expectations ❤️
We will be coming back again and again!

Lisa and Tony are awesome! I’m happy every time I get my nails done. They do wonderful work with designs and they take their time and make sure that everything looks good. I also have to compliment Kathy who does my pedicure. She does a great job with my toes. I can’t thank her enough. This is a great place to get your nails done, and everybody is so friendly

My friend Kat recommended this place for my wedding nails and specifically named Tony, saying, “he can hand-paint any design.” She wasn’t wrong, Tony is AMAZING and this is the best mani I have ever had! He hand painted the flower design and I am IN LOVE. I booked him to do my nails this exact way for my wedding in 2 months. So happy!! Thank you Tony and thank you Kat!

Thi did such a wonderful job on my nails!!! I brought in an inspo pic and she was so attentive and precise through EVERY step of the process. I am very particular when it comes to shape — I want stiletto, NOT almond, and I am pleased to report that she gave exactly what I hoped for. The design came out so beautifully and true to the picture I wanted: a matte natural base with shiny gold leaves. She was incredibly dedicated to getting it right. I am so happy to have found a place I can rely on (especially one so reasonably priced!). I can’t recommend this salon enough. Thank you, Thi!

2 WEEK UPDATE: My nails survived vacation!! 1 week cruise and 1 week of travel between different countries and my nails stayed strong through it all, including the gold design! I am so impressed and happy that I came here. A friend got the same design but at a different place and theirs was wearing off within the first week. Amazing job, Mimosa Nails!
