My boyfriend got me a gift certificate for Christmas for a pedicure. He paid WAY TOO MUCH! With tip. I hadn’t been able to get a pedicure for over a year n half due to not being able to get out because of my health. You can imagine how excited I was to be feeling a bit better and going to get MY pedicure! Talk about a disappointment! Kya gave me THE WORST pedicure I’ve EVER HAD! Water was cold. I told her that the bottoms of my feet and sides were REALLY dry and would NEED to use the “cheesegrater”. I asked her if she knew what I meant. She said, ‘yes, and I’ll do some exfoliating too’. She barely rubbed a little bit of an exfolant on my heels and worked on my toes. She was purely lazy! Cold water, no cheese grater, no massage to my calves and feet, no warm towels wrapped around my calves. She rubbed some lotion on my feet and my lower leg….very little! If you b[k a pedicure at Meraki be sure NOT to ask for Kya or ask to make sure it’s not with her! You WILL waste your money! I have NEVER given a bad review before. I’m a retired Cosmetologist. My bosses would’ve NEVER let me get away with THAT! When I owned my salon I would definitely give a warning to my commission people about things like THIS!

I have never had someone fight me on what I wanted for my hair until today. If you want someone that’s opinionated and fights you on what you want I highly recommend this place. Not impressed at all.
