A small mall with a small-town feel. All employees at the stores I visited were just lovely! Shopped at Cotton-On, Rue 21, and Magic Rock City Was my FAVORITE.

The mall is a good place to shop. There is a large varietyof store there. The mall is very clean. The furniture is kept clean. All the stores seem to have a clean policy prereqisite. It’s a great place to walk in if the weather isn crummy outside.

Stopped at Magic Valley Mall to see if Verizon could help me add a new debit card to my account. They were very helpful, and not only did they add my card, but they also upgraded me to a better plan for the same price! Thank you so much, you guys made my day!

They say that malls are dying.
That online shopping is killing brick and mortar stores. But you can tell that this mall really is trying hard to keep people coming in. In the last 5+ years, they have been making changes with updated flooring, a year-round playground for little ones, a game center, and the new restaurants around the outside of the mall. The addition of the zoological center was a great idea. I’ve been there twice since they’ve opened. My kids loved it each time we went. They are doing things to entice people to be there. For example, just this past Christmas, They had the grinch there and the frozen cast. Which I brought my own child in to see. I just wished they could attract bigger department stores. It would be nice to not have to drive 2 hours to have a bigger selection of stores to shop at. And they really need to do something with the empty shopko building.

The mall is okay. Sort of a ghost town though almost no people in it at any point so if you like quiet shopping this is the place for you. Also a couple of stores within the mall are closed so it’s a little bit like a ghost town between the lack of people and the empty businesses within the mall. One more thing, the hours really suck! This mall must be catered to children and elderly people because it rolls up its carpet and closes so darn early and it’s summertime!! Whatever happened to summertime hours? I don’t know maybe the magic Valley Mall has covid cuz people are really staying away from it. In conclusion, if you don’t mind an empty mall with little to offer very little people and terrible hours of operation then this might be the mall for you. However, if you are looking for a mall that contains a variety of trendy upscale stores in a variety of different things within the mall including a steady of people inside the mall… You might want to try Boise or Idaho Falls. I give this mall three stars because it didn’t smell nor was it dirty and those are also important factors. Also another factor is the stores that were in there with businesses that were open we’re having really good sales. If you do go there check out Kohl’s they are having some really great sales. I had never been in there before so that was part of the reason why I gave them three stars that store was open later than any of the other stores the reason it didn’t get an extra star was 21 rue was closed and gone forever JCPenney’s has some stupid hours like 7 or 8:00 pm. Not sure how they even stay in business with those stupid hours. I just started loving Rue21.. really bummed that they no longer exist there. You win some you lose some.
