ZERO STARS

By far the worst nail Solon experience I’ve had.

To start my feet shouldn’t look like this leaving after paying for a “50$” pedicure I put that in quotes because they added gratuity without telling me and charged me 70$. He didn’t even use the little dead skin grater. On top of that my nail lady was super not welcoming looked miserable and rushed my whole full set. I had to ask her to use a clean cuticle cutter (she tried to use a dusty one that was in her file tip box and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year & definitely used one someone before me) I had to ask her to get closer to my cuticle (there was a huge gap so if my nails grew at all they would look extra grown out) she was not happy about this and I guess that’s why she put the acrylic ON MY CUTICLE and anyone that has had this done knows it’s painful when it grows out and will lift faster and looks horrible. I’ve never in my life written a negative review but I was excited about this place and possibly finding a new nail Solon and this was just super crazy. They say 70 for full set but they charge you 90$. Never once was gratuity mentioned. If they are going to charge you 20$ extra then they say they should start with that, but I guess that’s how they get you. Lastly I asked for almond but started out by saying I like super round almond and that I don’t like them pointy at all the pictures doesn’t do it justice because the nails look good from afar but don’t let that fool you I look like I asked for cat claws.

Was charged $80 for this short French tip acrylic full set although the website menu clearly shows $50 for a basic set with an additional $5 for French. I was told by the manager that the set itself was $60 plus $20 for the “deep French”. I wasn’t told about this till I was charged and when I mentioned the menu price the manager just looked at the young lady next to her and apologized. I used to come here all the time in 2023 and I will never be back. The work is fine but I believe I was charged a made up price and taken advantage of due the repeated “it a slow day” comment that were made my entire time there.

Wow, I’m not the type to leave a review but the way I was treated my second time back within 3 days of my nails breaking off was ridiculous. I came on a Friday and paid $60. Ok I didn’t mind but the nails were horribly done and honestly came off so quick. I’m the type to get my nails done on a consistent basis so I know a good set and know how long my nails should last. I came back due to the ridiculousness. I first called the lady who did my nails to see what they could do because I just paid well over for what the nails were even worth, ok I get it the woodlands is boujee but come on. So she basically ghosted me and did not answer me. I even called the location and they put me on hold and never picked up. So finally as I’m on my way the tech answers and said to call the salon I told her the phones were down I’ve called over 5 times. She insisted I call again to see where they can get me in. She hung up as I was trying to ask and see if I could speak to someone there. I told her I was already 10 minutes away. Ok I get there and spoke to some front desk lady who basically said she could not do anything for me and I’d have to pay for a whole new set. She literally thought I lied and clipped them myself. For one why in the hell would I clip $60 nails off??? Nah baby, I didn’t. They were done horrible!!!!! Which again less then 3 days were cracking and some broke off on their own. SMH. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager of the day. I asked if I could get something off if I did another set and she said no. I think that was wrong on their end because yet again even the tech told me they over charged and the set was not done properly. It wasn’t even about getting a discount however more of an apology like I’m so sorry or let us fix this. No nothing. I just know I will never return. The salon is beautiful and some techs were sweet but the principle behind the situation is where things stand and should have been handled better. Disgusted and disappointed.

0 stars. I spent $95 on just the pedicure alone with gel. Amy cut my toe, rushed the service, and left my feet rough. i live 45 min away. i came back the next day because the receptionist stated they would redo the service. so i made the drive. when amy greeted me she seemed annoyed that i was back. I specifically asked for another person for the same reason but still got her. anyways she proceeded to tell me i should get more pedicures thats why my feet are rough. excuse me? i informed her that ive always gotten it removed and had never had an issue. she proceeded with scrubbing my feet for a good 5 minutes. didn’t offer any drinks or apology. the manger proceeded her and spoke in their native language and were looking at my feet and laughing and he walked away. she asked if everything was okay. i said sure. I was about to leave her a generous tip for her inconvenience but decided not to in the end.
