Customer Reviews:
Just want to highlight the awesome team this location has. You can’t tell from the photo but we had a power outage that knocked out half the city (my apt included) and they were still doing everything by phone light, battery, etc. until it became dark. I know (because I got the power outage notification earlier) that everyone was there voluntarily after it was knocked out. And it was still a packed house and everyone sounded happy as they were leaving. It was a fun bonding experience all chatting across tables 🙂
I was running late because my own elevator was out and at the front, it was a little hard to pick a nail color. I accidentally got one more orange than usual and am SO happy I did and keep getting it. I forgot to leave this review until a woman I work with on occasion came up to me last week to show me her nails and said she had loved mine so much that she went and tried to do the same. I get compliments from straight guys on my nails.
Anyway. Just wanted to give a shout out to a great location that does great work, lights on or off. Thanks y’all 🙂
*This location also doesn’t consistently ask customers to wash their hands prior to using products.
Iwent in to M Vince Salon in Northfield on Feb 27 for a mani pedi. The worse!! I told the tech that I did not like how my cuticles look. The tech Andy put oil them. But because it was close to closing time, I was too tired to stay. When I went back Friday evening to show him what I was talking about. He told me to come back Sat morn. All that I wanted for the tech Andy to do was cut my cuticles. No polish! Just fix the cuticle. When I went in, the manager who also said his name was Andy, told me that I had to pay again. I asked to speak to the owner or corporate, he told me to go online. When I did, the number did not work, He did not care that I just got my nails done and they looked like someone chewed on my cuticles, and he called the cops. Why do I have to sue them for a $30 manicure? And all he had to do was serve customer service! The tech was willing to resolve the issue but the MANAGER, (who also said his name was Andy Liu) was rude, unprofessional and must be related to the owner to be in the position of manager! He can’t manage customer service in such a fancy place. I pray that all your customers go anywhere but here!!

Cons:
– my nails were not filed
– left leg was “massaged” almost the whole 5 minutes, right leg was barely touched
– “massage” is more like just lightly rubbing in lotion
– hot towel wraps were forgotten on the floor until she finished my pedicure and then she realized what she did and put cold towels on my legs for 30 seconds
– the lady was on the phone almost the entire time, which, normally I don’t care about, but I think this lead to a lot of the above complaints
– I went to pay, there were 5 people at the counter and no one even looked at me until I said something after a few minutes
Pros:
-nice decor
-if you are looking for a quick pedicure with zero frills and just want to get in and out, then this place will be fine (the only reason it gets 2 stars)
All in all I won’t be going back and would recommend spending your money elsewhere for better service.
