Avoid this place for your health and safety.
On Feb 19th 2023 I went into this nail salon to get a wax, mani & pedi. The mani/pedi were fine but the wax left burns and scars on my face. I called in and asked management to return my money from the wax because they burned me but they replied that I have sensitive skin and it’ll go away. She refused to return my money from the wax and completely dismissed me! This is the first time I’ve been to this place and I don’t recommend it for anyone, avoid it at all costs. I’ve been getting my brows waxed for 20yrs and have never been burned by any other salon. This is the most horrible feeling ever.

Mary did my pedicure and it was the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had! She took her time and the massage portion was PERFECT! I’ll definitely be making the drive from Natomas again to see her.

Great…they tried to come close to what I wanted. Wanted gel clear and color ombre but they can only do on acrylic but did clear with colored French tips. Very pleased!

Sandra is the only person in the shop that will polish your nails right, the other women Can’t polish I repeat CANT POLISH NAILS PERIOD!. She will hand you off to the other women in the shop to get your nails done knowing the other women can’t do a good job. They will consider you complying if you refuse to leave the shop w/ thick polish or bubbles in the polish. They will stop speaking English and start speaking in their language. ( super uncomfortable)If we’re paying our money we as customers should be happy and satisfied when leaving. As “Professionals” the staff including Sandra needs to understanding we’re spending our money to feel and look pretty we’re not trying to be taking advantage of and embarrassed in front of other customers because we disagreed w/ the service provided. If I spend $70 plus anywhere i want good service. Another issue I found with Mc nails is that They don’t have set prices for their services,It seems as if every week when I go for services,The prices change and once I noticed it I started to ask for a receipt. I was refused a Receipt multiple times by the manager Sandra. She said they don’t have to give receipts.
Last but not least they will perform one service on one person and go right to the next w/ out washing their hands, if you ask if they can wash their hands they will start speaking in their language and the remaining service will not go right. The services MC nails provides as well as their customer service skills needs a lot of work,it’s completely unacceptable especially for the prices they are charging and not giving receipts. At the end of the day the staff at Mc nails needs to understand we come to them to send our money for services it’s not the other way around. So treat it as such. I also included pictures of the $70 service I received 3 days ago. FYI I complained the same day of service was told to come back the next day because they were busy. ( as more customers come thru the door they will Immediately start rushing on you to get to the new customer) then was denied service.was told by Sandra that I complain too much that there is nothing wrong with my nails that the dents are from the polish that’s how it’s supposed to be. To all the customers out there if you feel that this service is worth $70 make sure to visit this establishment.. and remember no Complaining! And I will be reporting Mc nails to BBB for Refusing to provide me with the receipts after my services over the years.

Just visiting back in Sacramento & I haven’t been to this place in years. Sadly, I don’t remember this place ONLY accepting CASH OR DEBIT ONLY. The lady at the front directed me to get cash at the ATM. I felt bad because I don’t have that much cash & I felt so bad for the ladies who did me and my sister’s nails because I wanted to generously tip the ladies using my card. The only signs I saw coming in there was that it says they want you to pay BEFORE you get the service(s) done & that they ONLY accept cash for eyebrows. It says nowhere that they ONLY accept CASH for ALL services. That would have been great to know before I got seated. I even asked the lady who did my eyebrows wax about the cash & she said it’s ok; you pay all together…Well, I didn’t know they ONLY want cash. Unless maybe the lady at the front profiled me to think that I couldn’t pay for these services, so she maybe have wanted me to pay for it in cash. I get that she probably don’t want to claim some of her revenues for tax purposes, but this is not good business practices, especially when you don’t have a sign to say “WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH.”
This kind of ruined the whole experience for me & my sis because the ladies who did our nails were super nice.
Personally, I have had my nails done at numerous places in different cities in different states/countries & this is the first time I had to pay with cash.
I have plenty of money & I definitely won’t be getting my nails done if I didn’t, but it’s the principle that you should have stated you don’t accept credit/cards. I collect my rewards when I use them. This is the first time I didn’t tip well enough & it bothers me so much so I wanted to write this review.
I’m sorry ladies who did me & my sister’s nails/wax. 🙁

Being in California & traveling to numerous places, you would think you would have the best services coming from major cities in CA, FL, NY, but THE BEST nail salon I’ve been to was in New Orleans & it exceeded all standards that I would travel out there if I wanted my nails done right.
